The special feeling that comes with having kids around// wk-245

Kids are a blessing from God and yes I do like kids, infact I love kids, especially when they’re still babies, they always look cute and innocent, the baby smell they give is so calm and soothing, last month I was at the hospital with my aunts friend that underwent cesarean section to give birth to her little prince, the joy of the mother was overwhelming and the baby looked so cute and big too, a baby that was just few hours old was taking his baby milk so well, because he was just a new born I couldn’t carry him, that was my first time seeing a baby that just came out from his mother’s womb few minutes, I was carried away and I couldn’t get any picture, I fell inlove with baby instantly.

In Africa we value children alot, even if the parents are not well to do but make sure to have a children in that marriage, because we believe that kids are blessing from God, in my family we’ve got alot grandchildren, I am a proud aunty to 11 kids and I believe more are still coming because some of my brothers and sisters are yet to have their children, and me too I am also yet to have my own kids, which I look forward to in a couple of months or years.

Kids are adorable and same time can be annoying but the truth is I can’t love them any less, they make shout, laugh, angry and so on, sometimes they even make me have mixed feelings, on some days I just want to buy them everything they want while on some they just have to manage what I can give to them, I am opportuned to live with fours kids at home and all I can say is that they’re a handful, when they’re in school the home becomes quite but when they’re back, I just wish they’re still in school..Lol.

I can say that I love kids for a fact, because of their innocence and honesty, their curiosity and excitement, my kids at home could ask me a million questions at time, I love how they love someone unconditionally, I also love their high energy levels because without them the home feels empty and they’re also the comedians at home that don’t get paid, with children its a learning process everyday because as a parent or guardian you have to observe and understand them very well, they also have mood swing days and honestly to my nieces and nephews I am wicked sometimes just because I scold them when they do something wrong but sometimes I am the best aunty in the whole wide world just because I buy them Icecream or snacks.
