For me there are five working days and two resting days, I mean even God rested after his creation expedition and it is written; "better is a handful of rest than two handfuls of hard work and chasing after the wind".
So I'm made to believe the week days are meant for hustling and working while the weekends are meant for relaxation, connection with God, family, friends and nature.
So while I crowd myself with work from Monday to Friday I have my mind calculating in what different way would I spend the weekend in way that will enable me fulfil the pleasure of satisfying the trinity of giving attention to God, Family or friends and nature.
With God it's easy because I'm not one to miss a Sunday service it's a sacred service I am obligated to render to God.
I'm far away from home so I ensure I check in on my family members since I can't always make out time to visit. Every weekend I would leave the comfort of my space and visit my friends, most times we end up carrying outdoor activities and we have so much fun so it's one of the things I look forward to every weekend.
Getting in tune with nature is a must for me, and I do different things to fulfil this ritual it's either I take a sit outside watching the sunrise and the sunset, or I watch the birds on the Mango tree within my compound, or I take a walk and observe the humans sharing the earth with me, or I ride my bike feeling the air brush on my face and much more exciting stuff I come up with in order to get in tuned with nature.
Basically my weekends are great because I get to carry out activities I don't carry out during the five week days and I prefer it that way.
Thanks for reading through.
