Internet Trolls And Their Traits

Happy weekend everyone!

We have some people in our lives who would stand up anywhere anytime to cheer us up when we make our wins no matter how small it is. They are there to motivate us even when things are not going accordingly as we've planned but what about the anonymous people we are not even sure we know but would go any length just to ensure they drag the other party into mess.

Based on the prompt to write on what we think of internet trolls and what defines an internet troll by weekend experiences community week 272, I will be taking us through my understanding about internet trolls.

Internet trolls have become so consistent and strong with aiming at their targets and causing chaotic situations on social media as a whole.

Who are these internet trolls? This and more are the possible question I would at times ask myself.
Are they originally haters of these so called targets on the social media space? Have they been haters right from the normal world but transferred the hatred to the Internet just to bring their so called targets down? Or are they just using this as a means to take away their boredom?

There are some peaceful post you would see people make to probably showcase what they have, what they are achieving presently and maybe their plans for the nearest future.
The most amazing or funniest thing you would see next on the post(s) is a troll commenting on such peaceful post in a chaotic manner, using provocative words and offensive language with an intentionality to cause trouble, stir diverse reactions and drag the victim into the mud.

Recently, I saw a celebrity make a post about her baby bump, showing how grateful she is for the achievement of becoming a mother very soon and the next thing we would see is someone commenting that the pregnancy was fake and that she had surrogacy done.
Like what's the main reason behind such comment? Even if it was a surrogacy, can't you just look away since it's not your business but I guess it's just the norms for these so-called internet trolls and the calling of their own ministry to taunt people and probably catch fun out of it.

Remembering a movie I saw sometime ago around Internet troll, it was made known that the trolls targeting these specific victims are insiders who creates anonymous accounts just to achieve their aims in taunting and creating unbearable scenes for their targets.

Would we say this is really the case in reality outside the movie world, or these people are actually outsiders who just want to get themselves busy on the internet or create unnecessary familiarity for themselves by aiming at these victims since most of these trolls aim at the celebrities from my own observation.

The only thing I would always advise people on issues like this is to harbour the habit of ignoring. There's a saying of "silence is the best answer for a fool", so definitely when you reply with silence then every trolls gets to be tired when their target is acting like they're not decoding their provocative signals.
