Marketing - What's our pitch? ONLY ORGANIC??

So for those of you who didn't know, it seems we lost Lari. Lari went dark almost a month ago now. He still has tokens, some of his wallets seem to be moving, but he is inactive from discord no matter how many times we ping him. He also ran the PsyberX specific twitter, so that has gone dark as well.

But, the @psyberX team is still working hard. What they decided to do was team up with @ecoinstant, that's me, the one writing this post. @ecoinstant runs the INCOME Synergy Fund, which helps projects navigate the crypto landscape and (hopefully) increases their chances of success by avoiding some common pitfalls and working towards their strengths.

PsyberX the game is in development, some momentum was lost when the build engine was switched (but it looks so much prettier now!), some of the collaborations seem to have fallen through at least in the short term, and now Lari, a team member, has fallen off the bus. It seems like times are tough - as everyone knows bear markets can be tough (but nothing like the last crypto winter, at least not yet). Not even having yet mentioned the very appropriate 'due dilligence doubters' that are making sure everyone knows that this is still speculative.

Don't be degenerate people, its not a good idea to invest more than you can afford to lose in any project, no matter how much you believe.

So where does that leave us?

Of course with a strong desire to continue to push, position and build out our brand and community in the meantime while things are developing. The writer of this post is acting in good faith, we all so far think there is a game being developed, and part of that is the stream of screen shots from a game being developed.

From that perspective, I want you guys to know something important - the team at PsyberX has not yet spent a single dollar on marketing. We have only done organic growth and outreach, we are working the twitter account @ reptile_royal, we are looking to collaborate with other projects and developers, many of whom are in various states of development themselves.

It may seem like we are constantly shilling, but in fact we are low-key looking to follow the best practices of the space, get noticed, generate hype, and prepare the ground organically work while development is happening, so that when there is closed-beta and then open beta, we can really ride this rocket into the stratosphere. Organically, in this context, means shouting words into the internet, but not paying anything to do so.

So you are leaving HIVE for AVAX? HOW DARE YOU??

Already we have been getting some flak from what appear to be HIVE purists. We love HIVE, we are based here and built our first NFTs on the Hive-Engine protocol. We continue to build out our decentralized blog presence here, and talk about #hive every time we link to our blog on twitter.

Also when we are making collaborations with other projects, we are encouraging them to come and use HIVE as a platform for making announcements and logging their social presence (and promises) into a timestamped and trustless blockchain layer. HIVE has many benefits over web2 social media, and not many people or projects even know about it. We will certainly update you on any successful onboarding if it does happen!

But further than that, if a project using HIVE grows bigger than HIVE, that is good for HIVE. We understand that there may be some jealousy, but everyone knows that bridges need to get built and people need to know about something for healthy growth to occur. @psyberx hopes to be just one of many HIVE projects that serve as a bridge to the outside (and immensely more popular) EVM blockchains.

We appreciate all kinds of feedback and even our harshest critics can see that we do our best to respond professionally, adjust and correct what we are able, and keep moving forward, building and growing.
