In the previous post, I mentioned the changes to the list of tokens I stake on Hive and the update to my activity on the Hive snowballing concept. In this post, I'll follow up on those ideas.
Everything I discuss here is my experience and is geared toward users like me who have little to no capital to invest. I primarily use the profits I earn through publishing content on the Hive blockchain, using faucets, or PTC (Pay-to-Click) sites. Everything mentioned here is related to the Hive blockchain or its Layer 2 tokens.
Disclaimer: What you do with your money is your responsibility. Do your research before investing.
The concept of Hive snowballing is simple: compound interest and maximize wealth accumulation within the Hive ecosystem. For example, it took me about two years to reach my first 1,000 Hive staked (Hive Power [HP]). Now, since October 2024, I've increased my HP to 1,905.52, a rate of +100 HP per month. If this sequence continues, it will take me 10 months or less to earn my second 1,000 Hive staked. That's 58.3% less time to go from 1,000 to 2,000 than it took me to go from 0 to 1,000.
The overall goal is to create a base that allows me to meet expenses without affecting my HP and, if possible, the interest earned will cover my basic monthly needs. It's a tough challenge, but it's a long-term one.
Of course, this only applies to those who view their Hive account as a personal business and are in it for the long haul. If we previously explained the two main strategies for implementing this snowballing Hive concept, today I'm updating you on what I'm doing.
First, I've changed my blog rewards to 50% HBD and 50% HP due to the need for liquidity in the near future for personal expenses. Once the situation is resolved, I'll resume the path of 100% HP to meet the goal of reaching 3,000 HP as soon as possible.
Due to this same need for liquidity, I may have to withdraw part of the 120 HBD from staking, the monthly passive interest income.
In Cuba, 20 to 35 HBD would be enough to cover a month's survival needs; in other countries in Latin America, Africa, or Asia, the figure would be 200 to 300 HBD.
I actively vote on content. I try to keep my voting power at 70%, so I limit my votes to 50% of my voting power. Community building is also a daily task: commenting, helping and encouraging new members, generating initiatives or projects and offline activities. This always comes back, even if it's not measurable monetarily, as some things don't have economic value but have great spiritual value.
Another area where I've increased my long-term investment is in permanent HSBI units. I now have a total of 908 units. This allows me to have a stable and secure income on Hive through my posts.

Finally, I'm looking to diversify my earnings through Layer 2 tokens and liquidity pools.
The remaining tokens not on the holding list are being converted to one of the listed tokens for inclusion in liquidity pools or staking.
My token list remains focused on the following list:
Staking Token Delegations:
Of the $BBH token, I own 11,091.49 BBH, which gives me a weekly profit of 0.048 SWAP.HIVE and 0.06 LEO. The amount of BBH increases each time I use the !BBH command to tip a user.
As for BBHO, the goal is to reach 10,000. I currently own 660.75 BBHO. This token can be earned by using #bbh as the first hashtag in your posts.
BBH and BBHO are tokens that pay dividends for holding or staking them.
I've added the LSTR:LEO pair to earn passive earnings from the LSTR token (so far, this is the only way). I believe there is no risk of impermanent loss in this pair, as LSTR is a leveraged fund based on $LEO. Therefore, it will follow the same price trends as the token.
The changes in the HIVE:BEE and HIVE:CENT pairs are minimal. The increase in liquidity pool participation is covered by token rewards from curation or conversions.
These ideas are aimed at users who, like me, have very little or no capital to start investing. The main investment is the profits obtained through publishing content on the Hive blockchain or through the use of faucets or PTC pages. All the opportunities and possibilities mentioned here are related to the Hive blockchain and its Layer 2 tokens. If you have a large capital or monthly investment amounts of more than $100, your investments should be different (although these would also work). Time and patience are key.
I repeat, what you do with your money is your responsibility. Do your research before investing.
If you have any ideas or questions to share, I'd love for you to leave them in the comments.
Thanks for this post @yecier. I found it very interesting and informative. For example, I learned...
I've been collecting BBH and BBH0 for some time. And this is the first time I've heard about using the #bbh hashtag. Not that I post very often. But it's good to know.
I like that you link back to your previous posts. Because I think I can learn a lot from them.

Interesting points of analysis that lead us to reflect on our work.
Congratulations on the achievements you're reaching!
I've already surpassed 2000 HP, but I still have a lot to learn about tokens, and with you, I'm learning little by little.
Thanks!
Big hugs!
