Canada Prime Minister say some ugly truths

If you haven't heard what the Prime Minister of Canada said, you should go get his speech. These are things that we should all be aware of.

However, it is not something that surprises me. I already had and had expressed similar ideas here in Hive, but I have no real influence as a Mark Carney does.

Some time ago in one of my posts I said:

"Perhaps one thing Trump should do would be to encourage and support domestic agricultural production and the resurgence of small and medium-sized farmers in this nation as was always his tradition. I firmly believe that in the future being food self-sustaining will be as important or more important to powerful nations as industrial power. More so in the face of possible geopolitical conflicts."

And this is something that is more important today for countries and minor powers. As Carney say:

"A country that cannot feed itself, supply itself with energy or defend itself has few options."

About energy I also alerted when I warned that the energy race had already started. And that it would be vital for nations and mainly the great hegemonic powers.

Trump came to accelerate the breakdown of the status quo, some will say break it directly. U.S.-first policy will only weaken American influence in the long run. Traditional allies, and even vassal countries, are beginning to look for alternatives.

It remains to be seen whether the damage caused by Trump's sloppy elephant-like attitude in a glassworks can be reversed by the next administrations. Because the damage is not only external. Internally, it is causing such a polarization that it hears the destruction of the empire from inside.

For now, the docile neighbor is no longer so docile.
