Evening

After Bitcoin, Twitter enables Ethereum Tipping.

So after a few month of launching their tipping feature, Twitter is extending support for Ethereum addresses too. The announcement came on Wednesday, with social media platform adding a number of payment options to its tipping service ensuring an enhanced global coverage.

Back in September last year, twitter added Bitcoin tipping service via Strike’s Lightning Network. And now Twitter has added Ethereum to the fold. User looking to enable Ethereum tips simply need to accept to Twitter tipping policy add their Ethereum address in the tipping section of their profile. For now only raw Ethereum addresses are accepted, meaning lack of support for Ethereum Naming Service(ENS).

For now the Ethereum tipping service is available for the IOS and Android users only and users keeps 100% of the tipped Ethereum.

You can tip to show support, show appreciation, help out or reward anyone you want – from emerging creators and journalists to Twitter Spaces hosts and more. Because tipping occurs through third-party payment services, you must also ensure that your tips comply with the terms and policies of those services.

Twitter's interest in Ethereum is not new, as last month Twitter allowed its Twitter Blue IOS users to connect their wallets like Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Argent, or Ledger Live and upload NFTs to set them as profile picture.

With Bitcoin and Ethereum tipping functional, one can certainly hope the support for other coins might be coming soon also. And who knows we, might have Hive tipping option some day.

Good Day!!!

I can't see regular crypto enthusiasts tipping in ETH with it's current status. I'd rather see them use crypto with cheaper fees like HIVE, BCH, XRP, LTC, TRX and DOGE

One massive giant bending down after the other lol!

When one is linked with cryptocurrency since 2017, it seems a joke. I mean why so late then :)
