How are you today?

How are you today? I’m doing well. I’m trying to update a few of my programs. Progress is slow, but my day job is still my priority—HIVE doesn’t pay the bills! 😄

I’m doing all of this mainly for fun, without putting too much pressure on myself. So far, everything is working properly, which is already great. There are probably still things to improve, but every little step counts.

What do you think? Do you have any ideas or suggestions to share?

I’ll keep working on my little projects at my own pace and keep you updated on how they’re coming along, as usual. Thanks to everyone who follows my work and supports me!

I’ve raised the staking limit from 30 tokens per person to 100; this still results in an APR of 5.18%. I can't change it further for the time being, as the percentage is hard-coded into the program that handles the calculations and distribution.

I'm still trying to figure out how to set a daily usage limit for !GLYPH on localhost, but I only come across timestamp code blocks that require being officially online rather than on localhost. I code in my spare time, but I'll eventually figure it out, lol.

For now, the rule for !GLYPH remains as follows:

if ($stake >= 10) return 0.0001;
if ($stake >= 5) return 0.00008;
if ($stake >= 4) return 0.00006;
if ($stake >= 2) return 0.00003;
if ($stake >= 1) return 0.00002;
return 0.00001; // if you have less than 1 staked

For now, each !GLYPH creates a JSON entry, and I have to manually click “Approve” for the tokens to be sent. I haven’t figured out how to automate this yet.
In my tests, users do receive their rewards when I click “Send,” and the list is cleared after the rewards are sent.
For now, this process should help prevent abuse. I’ll check the list every day and manually send the rewards.
Just to be clear, I’m doing this for fun.

Well, with all that said, I’m heading back to work. Unfortunately, my break is over, and even though I don’t really feel like it, I’ve got to earn a living, as the saying goes! 😄

Do you have any ideas for a silly little program I could make to improve GLYPH? I’m running out of ideas, lol!
