GLYPH Rewards Update

The reward amount now depends on the commenter’s GLYPH stake. Rewards are calculated in whole-number increments: each staked GLYPH earns 0.00001 GLYPH, up to a maximum of 0.001 GLYPH.

Examples:

• Less than 1 GLYPH staked: 0.00001 GLYPH
• 1 GLYPH staked: 0.00001 GLYPH
• 2 GLYPH staked: 0.00002 GLYPH
• 10 GLYPH staked: 0.0001 GLYPH
• 99 GLYPH staked: 0.00099 GLYPH
• 100 GLYPH staked or more: 0.001 GLYPH

The stake used for the calculation is the commenter’s stake. If a reward is sent to two people, each person receives the calculated amount.

Comments replying to your own post or comment are not eligible for rewards.

For now, each !GLYPH is recorded in a program, and I send the rewards manually. This helps me prevent abuse. I check the notifications several times a day—they come straight to my phone, even when I’m at work. You’ll receive your reward within 48 hours.

GLYPH Token Stability Update

I’d like to share an update on the current distribution of GLYPH and the steps I’m taking to support the token’s stability.

Current allocation

I currently control:

• 201.72497283 GLYPH in liquidity
• 105.84635251 GLYPH in staking
• 92.55105438 GLYPH allocated for sale

That adds up to 400.12237972 GLYPH, or approximately 400.12238 GLYPH.

With 658.67030015 GLYPH currently in circulation, approximately 258.54792043 GLYPH have been distributed and are outside my control.

Buyback and rewards

I’m buying back 269 GLYPH. That’s approximately 10.45208 GLYPH more than the amount currently distributed and outside my control. This additional reserve will be used to fund !GLYPH rewards, as well as the 0.0003 GLYPH I distribute to each person whose content I vote on through my curation.

You’ll be able to follow my curation activity on a dedicated Discord server. I’ll also announce when I’m taking a break to recharge my voting mana and when I resume voting.

Voting guidelines

I vote at 3.5% on an ongoing basis when my mana allows, while following these guidelines:

• Posts must be longer than 500 words.
• The author must have a good reputation.
• I don’t vote for blacklisted accounts or muted posts.
• I don’t vote on posts with tags such as NSFW, PORN, or SEX.
• My mana must be above 96%.
• When I resume voting after a break, I don’t catch up on missed votes.

If plagiarism or another issue is reported to me, I reserve the right to remove my vote after reviewing the report.

If you stake up to 100 GLYPH, you’ll receive an APR of 5.18%. This rate is hard-coded into the program.

In the next few days, I’ll introduce you to something I’ve been working on in my spare time. It’s designed to improve curation for @we-are-ai and for several tokens.
For now, the tokens involved will be those from the TRIBES (BEE) tags, as well as ALIVE, HEARTBEAT, ARCHON, and NEOXAG. That’s already quite a lot to start with, don’t you think? 😄

The main issue with this new code is that it’s getting hard to manage. It’s already around 2,000 lines, and changing one thing often means having to tweak a bunch of other parts too. It’s kind of a spaghetti mess right now. It works in my tests, but it’s running pretty slowly, so I still need to do some optimizing.
