📉 Market Insight – Week 28
There's an important lesson hidden inside this week's numbers.
HIVE is currently down more than 34% compared with the money allocated to it.
Bitcoin is also negative.
Yet the entire portfolio is only:
-0.18%
below the total amount invested.
Why?
Because position sizing matters.
VUG receives 80% of every contribution, while the more speculative assets receive only 10% each.
That means I can participate in the potential upside of crypto without allowing those positions to dominate the entire portfolio.
For me, that's what diversification is really about.
Not owning many things.
But deciding how much risk each thing deserves.
