Twitter zeigt jetzt den Bitcoin-Kurs an, wenn man nach Bitcoin oder $btc sucht. Auch andere $cashtags werden unterstützt, aber noch nicht $hive.
Der Service wird von Robinhood gepowered, was auch einige Häme in den Kommentaren eingebracht hat, da sich Robinhood vor einiger Zeit mit den WallStreetBets verscherzt hat, als sie das Trading von GME für Kleinanleger blockiert haben.
Laut Plänen von Elon Musk soll sich Twitter in Zukunft in eine "Everything App" entwickeln, mit der man vielleicht auch Krypto-Payments (Bitcoin Lightning) abwickeln kann. Vielleicht wird auch eine Krypto-Wallet integriert, da auch Binance bei Twitter als Investor mit an Bord ist.
Was sagt ihr dazu? Denkt ihr, dass Twitter tatsächlich eine Krypto-App werden könnte?

The service is powered by Robinhood, which has also earned some gloating in the comments, as Robinhood pissed off WallStreetBets some time ago when they blocked GME trading for small retail investors.
According to Elon Musk's plans, Twitter will evolve into an "Everything App" in the future, which may include crypto payments (Bitcoin Lightning). Perhaps a crypto wallet will also be integrated, as Binance is also on board with Twitter as an investor.

I am a bit confused - Robin hood is providing a chart powered by TradingView? Maybe they own it, or the API is free so it doesnt matter who calls the charts and displays them. If Elon stays in control, twitter will push crypto adoption both on and off platform. Change is interesting!
Elon Musk will make Twitter everything that would fill his pockets.
It won't be a bad idea if twitter have a section of the platform which is dedicated to cryptos..
Am sure this a good means to favor the price of btc as investors can keep constant watch on it.
Elon ist immer für eine Überraschung gut. Für uns Krypto-Junkies sind seine Moves meist begrüßenswert. Aus Twitter kann man viel mehr machen, als den IST-Zustand.
Ich glaube nicht an das Konzept einer "Everything-App". Etwas, das alles kann, kann nichts wirklich gut.
Für Krypto-Kurse gibt es eigene Seiten mit viel mehr Information. Wozu soll man das auf Twitter machen?
Das stimmt auch wieder, aber der Adoption-Faktor ist nicht zu unterschätzen, die Twitter App haben sicher zig Millionen User auf ihrem Smartphone installiert. Wenn Twitter es schafft, eine gute Bitcoin Lightning Wallet zu integrieren, würde das die Krypto-Adoption vorantreiben.

Glaube ich nicht. Irgendwie ist ja Twitter zur Zeit einfach nur ein großes Chaos. Bis sich das vernünftig neu ausrichtet dauert es sicher noch.

Knowing the team that surrounds Elon Musk, I have no doubt that Twitter will be an application for everything. It is the old dream of the birth of Paypal. Within a couple of years Twitter will be unrecognizable. I don't know if that will benefit us as users.
It could if Elon really puts in his influence, but since he's stepping down as CEO once he finds a suitable replacement... who knows? I hope so!

Da ist im Moment viel Bewegung drin. Denke es kann einiges sinnvoll ausgebaut werden in Sachen Krypto. Wie weit, everything? Mal abwarten. 🤷🏼♂️ Aber manches geht in die Richtung wie es bei Hive ist (Upvotes, Downvotes, Micropayments, Wallet usw.) Wir sollten das als Chance sehen. Um neue User so ins Web3 zu bekommen über Twitter Brücken.
Everything apps, like Victorinox knives, may be able to do anything you want. But they'll never be as good at it as a specialized tool. Will they be a success? That's up to us users. Do we prefer a multi-tool that can do almost anything adequately, or specialized tools that do things well?
As for Twitter becoming a crypto app. Who knows? I don't put my CC into Amazon, I don't use exchanges that ask me to prove who I am before I can get my funds back, so Twitter for crypto, no thanks.
Kann positiv sein, wie gesagt Crypto adoption aber je nachdem was Elon damit machen will, wenn ihm wieder etwas nicht gefällt kann es genauso negativ für den gesamten Markt sein.

I think it's nice to see but I don't think it means it's a crypto app just yet. From what I see, Elon wants the X app or an integrated app so it could be included at one point.
