War die letzten Tage ein ziemlicher Krimi um die SEC-Entscheidung. Davor wurde deren Twitter/X-Account gehackt und mit einer verfrühten Meldung der Zulassung getrollt, war zum Totlachen.
Die SEC hat immer eine Bitcoin und vor allem Altcoin-kritische Position vertreten und die letzten 10 Jahre alles unternommen, um Bitcoin ETFs zu verhindern.
Bitcoin braucht als dezentrales Protokoll, Be Your Own Bank, nicht die Erlaubnis von Regulierungsbehörden, aber es ist dennoch ein historischer Schritt, der Bitcoin für institutionelle Anleger interessant machen könnte, für die Rechtssicherheit wichtig ist und die sich nicht um die sichere Aufbewahrung und Technik dahinter kümmern wollen oder können.
Ich denke, dass sich Bitcoin mit der jüngsten SEC-Entscheidung ein Schritt näher Richtung digitaler Reservewährung entwickeln wird.
Was sagt ihr dazu? Auslöser für einen neuen Bullrun oder könnte sich der Preis sogar langfristig stabilisieren, ähnlich wie das bei Gold der Fall war?

It's been quite a scramble the last few days for the SEC decision. Before that, their Twitter/X account was hacked and trolled with a premature announcement of the approval, it was hilarious.
The SEC has always taken a critical stance towards Bitcoin and especially altcoins and has done everything in its power to prevent Bitcoin ETFs over the last 10 years.
Bitcoin, as a decentralized protocol, Be Your Own Bank, doesn't need permission from regulators, but it's a historic moment nonetheless that could make Bitcoin interesting to institutional investors, important for legal certainty and who cannot or do not want to worry about the secure storage and technology behind it.
I think with the recent SEC decision, Bitcoin will move one step closer to becoming the digital reserve currency of the world.

i guess this is the reason bitcoin bounce back today.
The EFT approval might trigger a bull run, but it's the halving that will really elevate the prices of certain coins including btc to crazy new highs.
I think it will cause a nice, slow and steady rise. There will be some runs and downturns, but I see BTC going close to 100K in the long term. Who knows? Maybe faster...

I am not sure. In a way, it makes it easier for people to invest in BTC but it also means that the existing financial system controls where the BTC is held.

This is one more step towards the widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies.
I believe with the upcoming Bitcoin halving combined with the approval of BitcoinETF definitely we can see cryptocurrency rising to an unprecedented level theoretically. Can't wait for this bull run, it's going to be massive. SEC has no choice than to go with the wave.
Ganz langfristig wird sich der Bitcoin Preis immer weiter stabilisieren weil mit zunehmendem Market Cap die Volatilität abnimmt. Aber da reden wir mMn. von 1-2 Dekaden und dann Preisen im siebenstelligen Bereich.
Der Bundeskanzler empfiehlt den Euro.
Nur so lässt sich die Demokratie bewahren.
