Was sagt ihr dazu?
Watch out for a new wave of crypto/phishing/scam ads on X.
There are currently more and more phishing attacks circulating on X in the form of malicious advertisements, this time promising a Uniswap UNI airdrop if you go to the website.
The aim of such attacks is to gain access to your Metamask Ethereum wallet and then to trick you into making transactions in order to steal your Ethereum assets.
The ads are either sent from “verified” fake accounts with the blue checkmark or from hacked accounts and the web address also changes frequently. But the pattern is always the same. The comment function is usually deactivated and you are directed to a phishing page where you then have to log in with your Ethereum wallet.
Unfortunately, X can't keep up with deleting these scam ads, as new accounts keep popping up constantly. Similar crypto-phishing attacks also occur on Google and YouTube, where scammers even pretend to be well-known YouTube accounts by coping the names and profile pictures of YouTubers.
What do you think? Have you also noticed the new scam ads on X? Have you ever clicked on one of these?

99,9% of free airdrops are scam!
I haven't been on X but I am skeptical about any airdrop ads. It doesn't bode well at all.
You have to be very careful with these things and if you want to participate, have a bridge account just for these things. This way we will avoid any surprises.
When the market heats up, the fishermen come. Be very careful.
These wretched scammers keep coming up with new ways to defraud people of their hard earned crypto. One might fall prey if they are not informed. Thanks for the information you've posted about this. I hope Uniswap users on hive will see this and beware.
Just use the common sense. There's nothing like free money to grab, and when something looks too good, it's likely scam.
That's, by the way, one of the reasons to lower the HBD Savings interest. It looks scammy for people from the outside.
Good point about HBD, 15-20% on a stable coin also seems scamy to me, considering yout currently get more APR on HBD than on staking and curating HIVE POWER, while the later pays for the former.
I wrote down an analysis on this topic few months ago: https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@godfish/4-reasons-for-lowering-the-hbd-savings-interest-rate
I don’t trust most crypto related news I see online
I bet you, most airdrops are set for deception and one has to be vigilant.
