Das Startup 21energy aus Österreich hat eine smarte Heizung entwickelt, die je nach Konfiguration 2-4 recyclte Antminer S9 eingebaut hat und schallisoliert ist. Genial.
Die Heizung mint gleichzeitig Bitcoin, während sie die Wohnung heizt. Anders als manche denken, verbraucht die Heizung nicht mehr Strom deswegen, sondern die gesamte Energie wird in Wärme umgewandelt. Physik. Wie bei einem normalen Elktro-Heizkörper.
Eigentlich muss man es anderesherum sehen. Normale Heizungen sind ineffizient, da sie nur Wärme produzieren und die Energie nicht für Berechnungen nutzen. Verpasste Chance.
Die Bitcoin-Heizung macht meiner Meinung nach dann Sinn, wenn man eine Wohung aus gewissen Gründen mit Strom heizen muss. Die Heizung eignet sich besonders gut für die Erzeugung der Grundwärme im Dauerbetrieb und kann zum Beispiel helfen Gas oder Öl einzusparen.
Laut 21energy hängt die Profitabilität stark vom aktuellen Bitcoin-Kurs, Hash-Rate und Strom-Preis ab. Aktuell lässt sich damit nur ein Teil der Heizkosten erwirtschaften. Aber immerhin und man muss bedenken, dass die geminten Bitcoin in Zukunft auch an Wert zulegen können. NFA.

It sounds interesting but I think I might wait to see if that is the actual fact first before I would buy one. There is a lot of misleading marketing and the amount of BTC mined might be too low.

I think its a good idea. The heater will also heat up the room and some coins will be determined, surely enough to cover the electricity and gas bills. If this thing is understood by people, then people will also pay a lot of money to buy the heater. We want this technology to come to Pakistan as soon as possible.

Mit Solarenergie ist es natürlich noch besser. Firma macht einen seriösen Eindruck, aber wie immer do your own research.

Starting price is 1500 Euro per heater.
Not horrible, but since they are older mining units they probably won't be able to produce much bitcoin even in a pool. It wouldn't be hard to build your own as long as you had the right power source.
Diese Idee ist naheliegend und ich habe sie schon lange im Kopf. Allerdings fehlt mir die unternehmerische Kompetenz im Bereich Computer-HW.
Man sollte aber mit dieser Anordnung eher Altcoins minen, da die Trefferwahrscheinlichkeit viel höher ist. Diese kann man dann in BTC konvertieren.
Ein Problem ist noch, dass man hauptsächlich im Winterhalbjahr heizt und die HW daher nicht auslastet. Am besten geeignet sind also technische Einrichtungen, die ganzjährig Wärmezufuhr brauchen.

Finde ich sehr interessant. Muss mich mal schlau machen. Habe in meiner Whg. noch eine alte Heizung. Fernwärme also läuft mit Strom. Vielleicht geht da ja was.

Great idea! As long as the mined bitcoins have any value at all it's a win, because you'd have to pay as much for the electricity used by a standard heater. 👍

Fragt sich, wie einfach könnten die Miner getauscht werden, wie lange werden die wohl nutzbar sein, Kosten VS andere Heizung?
Eben geguckt, 1500 euro vs 100-200 für normale Heizung. Joa da müssen die BTC erstmal die Differenz rausholen und dazu sieht das ding viel größer aus als andere Heizungen mit der Leistung
Stimmt, die Heizung ist größer als ein normaler Konvektions-Strahler, dafür sind die Miner schallisoliert und man kann die Heizung als Möbelstück verwenden. Besonders gut hat mir der Prototyp aus Holz im Video gefallen. Sieht sehr schick aus. Die Antminer können auch ausgetauscht werden, wenn sie kaputt gehen. Nachhaltige Lösung mit refurbished Minern.
Braucht man aber auch den Platz für.

This is a great project by 21energy, converting heat to Bitcoin sounds really cool, many people will buy, it's a great opportunity, that provides utilities as you earn.
Nunja wer geld verbrennen will kann dies gerne tun. In 2017 hab ich auch mal etwas Mining betrieben, daher hab ich noch den link zu nicehash...

Hier kannst du eindeutig erkennen, dass man mit mining eines S9 im monat ü 200€ verlust macht.
Bei 4 s9 miner in der Heizung sind es also minus 800€ .
Ich habe mit 25 cent stromkosten gerechnet. Ich weiß dank @reiseamateur ,dass ihr ösis nur 8 cent für strom bezahlt. In Deutschland zahlen manche schon 48cent für den strom.
Erst wenn der strom nur 3 cent kostet dann macht man mit 1 S9 miner 8 cent plus.
Wenn man den Strom sowieso für das Heizen benötigt, kann eine Bitcoin-Heizung Sinn machen. Sehe die Einnahmen als Zusatzeinnahmen, die man mit einer normalen Strom-Heizung nicht hätte.
Meine Stromkosten wurden in Wien zu Jahresanfang auch auf 47,5 Cent erhöht. Ja nach den kosten gesehen verbraucht 1 s9 miner soviel wie 1 Elektroheizung. Aber bei 47 Cent ist das mittlerweile die teuerste Energieform.
In einem halben Jahr läuft mein Stromvertrag mit 25 Cent aus. Mal sehen wie sich die Preis bis dahin entwickeln.
Die Strompreise sinken in Deutschland und Österreich wieder sehr stark. Du solltest jetzt öfter die Preise vergleichen. 😉
