From LEO -> SWAP.HIVE -> BNB/MATIC -> CUB (Staked) -> POLYCUB -> Wealth

It was same day last year (March 3, 2021) that I made my first attempt to start farming $CUB on Cubdefi. Here is my report post. It was my first DeFi staking experience and the joy I had was unique.

I have been literally dancing over the last few minutes after my first successful landing on CubFinance dens to start my CUB farming journey. This is actually my first taste of DeFi and it's just too exciting to have had the process rigorously completed and made my first stake of 1.6 CUB.

My mining of $CUB started at 2,658.03% APY and added to the over $300 received in the airdrop, I had farmed hundreds of $CUB over the weeks that followed.

It's been several months from the last time I accessed the Cubdefi platform and I actually found it difficult to navigate my way there. It was just as I started everything afresh since I had formatted my PC and had to reinstall Metamask. However, I'm glad I could find hive posts that helped me find my way through.

The most beautiful part of this CUB and POLYCUB farming journey is that I root everything from my HIVE and LEO earnings. Truly, it's a self feeding system and for me, that's sustainability.

Thanks for dieselpools and pegged tokens in the Hive-engine protcol that makes bridging the binance Smart Chain easier at least to be able to buy some BNB to help convert to CUB. I swapped 14.25 HIVE to 0.034 BNB. I had to try out with tiny volumes in case of an error.

Also, linking the polygon blockchain from Hive Engine was another interesting thing. I converted my SWAP.HIVE to SWAP.MATIC to fund my polygon wallet. Taking a part of my author and curation rewards to push into DeFi is a great deal. Really, a self-feeding system. Wa able to get 2.5 SWAP.MATIC from HIVE.

The 0.03 BNB was worth 42 CUB and that was good enough to be added to the little CUB that was available in the Cubdefi staking vault. All the tokens were staked and we're looking at a long term staking.

Starting off my CUB with 59 tokens is decent. Everyday will see me adding some more CUB till the desired volume is reached.

Meanwhile, I already have some 5.046 POLYCUB to be claimed. I can't at this point sacrifice the 50% tax on instant claim, I'll rather keep adding CUB whilw also getting some POLUCUB for staking in the polygon vault.

It is however interesting that the value of my pending POLYCUB airdrop is worth more than the value of the CUB actually staked.

CUB is a beautiful creation by the Leofinance team and having a long term mindset while investing in it would be a better decision.
