The Rich versus the Poor

It is a well accepted truth that one of the difference between the rich and the poor is how each group maximize opportunities. The rich people see money as an opportunity, this they do by making money work for them. On the other hands, the poor people see money as something to be earned and spent. The rich do not rely on their income, they would always invest a proportion of their income to compound the possible interest. The poor won't because they see it as a big risk to invest. They rather keep what thy earn and eat it up.

Don't be Poor!

This is not an investment advice, just ,my personal muse. I would rather have said "I will not be poor". Those words are hard to say when you grow up from a third world economy like ours with enormous economic wreckage. There is always the temptation of saying "let me keep my last dine for my last meal, after which I die". A few that can risk those words would rather invest their last and hope they live to see it yield, if not they, their children.

I remember March to June 2020 when I had put all of my Hive earnings into buying $LEO and stacking them. Some users literally came to me and questioned why I was putting so much of what I had into a project they never saw a future with. For me, it was a different view. $Hive then was low. There was not much I would do if I withdrew them, I rather be a part of the pioneer investors in the $LEO project even if it fail".

There were many uncertainties with the LEO project then. I didn't mind. I invested my all and was half-way a leader of the pack in stake. Weeks and months passed and just like a dream, my less than $250 $LEO holdings ran into 5 figures. I unstaked, diversified and withdrew some to comfort myself for the months I starved. Literally, many real projects were funded:

• A 2-bedroom apartment was finished and furnished
• Paid fees for many
• Provided care for my aged parents and more.

I can say I've live off the postulations by @taskmaster4450 that the Hive Economy: will provide a living for millions.

There is no bigger frustration than being a part of ta paroject for a on time , yet you're not able to share in the profits it brings. Most of the time the reason is that of missed opportunities and failed timings in taking decisions.

I had been following the GLX project from inception and I did make right postulations on how the token would fare, yet, I failed to takle the right decisions at the right time. I missed big because the "poor mentality" did set in at some point with questions such as "what if it doesn't yield as expected...?".
