My 169th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: So Much Investment News to Share! - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Sunday, August 24, 2025

Welcome to my 169th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update! Boy oh boy do I have a lot of news to share in this update! Some weeks are fairly uneventfully, while others pass by like a a whirlwind. That's how this week was, with several notable changes to my investments. Let's see what's been happening!

Firstly, I powered up 1,087 BBHO for the August BPUD, August BPUD - BBHO Powerup Day - 1,087.025 BBHO Powered Up!, which was my single largest BBHO powerup to date. What makes that even cooler is that it all came from passive accumulation over the month, and from winning in @benthomaswwd's regular @heartbeatonhive contests. I'm now past 11,333 staked BBHO.

It was close but no cigar on reaching 10,700 HP before the end of the week (it doesn't help that I had to cut off good chunk of time and write this on Sunday evening instead of Monday morning, due to time constraints). HP gain can be rather challenging to predict at times, but I wasn't far off.

I claimed 6.465 HBD in Savings interest 4 days go, which took me past 530 HBD in Savings. It's definitely growing more quickly, though I'd certainly like it to increase even faster. Patience and persistence is the name of the game.

I recalled my LEO delegation from @meowcurator to redelegate to @lstr.voter, which pays out daily in either LEO, which is the default, or LSTR, if you choose that option (via a bot command on InLeo Threads). I chose LSTR, so I'm now receiving a small amount of LSTR daily. I want to see how I might be able to use or leverage the LSRT that I'm accumulating to grow more of it. I'm thinking of adding it to the LSTR:LEO pool, to increase my holding more quickly of both LSTR and LEO.

So I've been talking about my dilemma with BRO and LGN, since for the same value, LGN pays out almost twice as much HIVE weekly than BRO. In other words, BRO is a lot more expensive, and it pays out less HIVE than LGN. I did end up swapping 3 BRO for almost 118 LGN, which increased my daily HIVE payouts for staked LGN from 0.009 HIVE to 0.015 HIVE, which is quite notable indeed, especially over time. Interestingly, I also began to receive daily HIVE payouts, and at a comparable level to my present LGN payouts, from @pyresoul, which I discovered was a part of the same BRO-LGN-CINE-GIFU project, with the daily HIVE payouts being sent to those who do and have interacted positively with this project, as part of a fascinating new community initiative. Very cool indeed!

I've been mentioning that I was preparing to make my 3rd fiat investment, and my 5th external investment in total (including off-chain crypto investments), into Hive, and how I was scheduled to finally initiate that yesterday, Saturday, via my crypto-loving jungle neighbor. Well, that was successfully accomplished, and I was expecting to receive my $600 work of SWAP.LTC in my wallet by this coming Saturday, August 30th. I had a big surprise today, however, as instead of taking the usual week, my jungle neighbor was able to send the LTC today! So, as I said that I was going to do, I swapped half of the SWAP.LTC into SWAP.HIVE, and I used that to add the rest of the SWAP.LTC into the SWAP.HIVE:SWAP.LTC diesel/liquidity pool, to earn pool fees for about 3 months, before removing, liquidating, and converting it all HIVE, to do another mega-powerup near the end of the year. I just added liquidity to that pool a few hours ago, and it's already earning quite excellent fees.

Over the past week I gained +74.491 HP, +7.704 HBD in Savings, and +0.04 Reputation points, which means that I still have 4,306.009 HP, 65.048 HBD in Savings, and 0.23 Reputation points to go to reach my year-end goals. This was a very good week indeed in terms of these three goals, though I was really hoping to get to 10,700 HP before the end of the week.

In terms of my HiveBuzz rankings I inched up +4 places for HP, I crawled up +2 places for HBD in Savings, and I jumped +9 places for Reputation. It's great that all the numbers are in the positive, even though they're all in single digits this week.
