My 164th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: BPUD Yesterday, a Week of Steady Growth, and a Challenging Hive Week - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Sunday, July 20, 2025

Welcome to my 164th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update! Well, I didn't quite reach 10,300 HP by the end of the week, but I did come very close, and it should pop over the threshold at some point today or tomorrow. I powered up 915 BBHO yesterday for the July BPUD, which brought me over 9,500 staked BBHO, which was my biggest single powerup for that asset. Other than steady growth all over the place, and continuing to go deeper into various diesel/liquidity pools, I don't have a whole lot to report from last week, and as such, I'll keep this somewhat short.

The HP lease that I accepted last month finally expired, and after waiting 5 days for my HP to fully recall, I accepted a second lease, for a bit more than I was hoping, this time 1,000 HP, which will run for another month, and is giving me 0.288 SWAP.HIVE every day, that is being invested hard into diesel/liquidity pools. I'm really liking HP leasing because it's such a great way to leverage layer-1 assets to boost layer-2 growth, in this case in the pools.

Multiple bots went down again, which has affected payouts and tipping, along with several third-party services upon which Hive depends either going down or becoming very unstable, so it's been a challenging week to get assorted Hive tasks done in any sort of quick and easeful manner. Even to prepare and write this post this morning has been something of an ordeal, but I'm determined and tenacious, so I made it happen.

I'd say it's just about time to take a look at the numbers, to see how I really did last week. Tallyho we go!

Over the past week, I gained +50.449 HP, +2.577 HBD in Savings, and +0.03 Reputation points, which means that I still have 4,702.244 HP, 86.436 HBD in Savings, and 0.42 Reputation points to go to reach my year-end goals. This was a pretty average week overall, good gains, but nothing amazing.

In terms of my HiveBuzz rankings, I leaped +7 places for HP, I dropped -4 places for HBD in Savings, and I jumped +4 places for Reputation. This is the second week in a row that my ranking for HBD in Savings has fallen, and it's definitely been in a down trend, which suggests that lots more people are staking their HBD as of late.

Speaking of HBD, I'll be claiming 6+ HBD in Savings interest later today, which will bring me to about 520 HBD in Savings, so another nice compound. I've got a really long way to go still on where I want it to be, but I'm getting closer ever day.
