FTX have been granted permission by a Judge to sell shares in AI startup Anthropic

I am sure you are well aware of FTX and the resultant bankruptcy and jailing of the founder.

One of the good things that they did was buy shares in Anthropic, an AI startup.

The bought $500 million of assets in 2021 which gave FTX 13.56% equity stake in Anthropic. this has balloned in valueto circa $15 million.

Last year an attempt to sell the assets was rejected in June 2023.

Recently, the U.S. Bankruptcy Judge John Dorsey approved FTX's proposal to sell its shares in Anthropic

The sale of the assets will be made with the price taken in Novemebr 2022 when FTX filed for bankruptcy.

It does mean that FTX will be in a position to repay customers at least some of their misappropriated funds!
