What is the use of these second layer tokens of Hive. PGM! ENG-RU.

Introduction

This will be a series of posts about layer 2 Hive tokens. Yes, there are many posts about it, including from the official communities of these tokens themselves. However, there is so much information that we need to collect it, systematize it, and simplify its presentation. That's exactly what I'm going to do. The main topics I want to cover are:

• Description of the token itself.
• Links to official token channels
• Obtaining or purchasing a token
• Token value for community members
• Ways to maximize the value/benefit of owning a token.

I've been thinking for a long time about which token to start this series of posts with, since I like all of layer 2 Hive tokens in their own way. I already own many of them and keep a daily count of their value. I didn't want to start with the well-known PIZZA, BEER, WINE, LOLZ and so on. Those will be in my next few posts. I decided to start with the relatively new, currently gaining momentum PGM. I've been following it almost since its inception and I'm liking it more and more. So let's get started!

PGM. What it is.

PGM, a Play Gamer token, is a layer 2 Hive token created to provide additional rewards to Hive participants. That is, if you write, comment on, or curate (upvote) posts with the #pgm tag, you are additionally eligible for PGM tokens. And that's all in addition to HIVE and HBD! To clarify, the more PGMs you have in your steak, the more PGMs you will receive from your activities related to #pgm tagged posts.

Official PGM channels.

At the moment you can find all the most detailed and new information about PGM in the official discord channel at PGM Discord. The creator and owner of this token and channel @zottone444 here on Hive and zottone#6726 on discord. He helped me a lot at first in understanding the concept and nuances of interacting with PGMs.

Buying PGMs or other ways to get them

At the moment you can buy PGMs from Hive markets such as: Hive-Engine Tribaldex Leodex.io. I like all three, but you can always choose what works best for you. I use them all. Today I'm going to show you how to buy using Tribaldex. Click on the link and see this window:

Right now, the last price at which PGM traded is 0.050611 Hive or $0.0265624. I'm not going to spend a lot of time to buy, so I'll show you how I buy some in one click. To do this, I need to go down below to this TRIBALDEX block:

Next I chose Buy, Limit, price 0.06 Hive, quantity 5 PGMs and clicked the green Buy button as shown in the screenshot below:

Going even lower, in the Trade History block, we see our purchase, which cost me even less than I wanted. Because the service bought all the tokens for me at a lower price than I had set in my order, and then the remaining amount at the price I wanted. Thank you TRIBALDEX!

The value of PGMs to the Hive community

I already listed some of the values above when I talked about the token itself, but let me try to put it all together in this section.

1. Additional rewards. You claim a PGM token each time you keep some tokens in stake and post, curate, or comment on posts with the tag #pgm. By the way, this post has that tag too, so feel free to ask questions, I'll be sure to support your attempts!

2. Distribution by command !PGM. Every time you use the!PGM command to comment on any Hive members' posts, you give a PGM and earn a PGM for yourself at the same time. That way you give part of your support while receiving the same gift in return. Boomerang in action! But there are some conditions. To share PGMs with others, you must have a certain number of tokens in stake:

• 10 PGM in STAKE = 0,1 PGM/LVL/ 1 STARBITS / 0,05 DEC/ MOTA 0,1 / 15 SBT sent and 1 command available every day
• 100 PGM in STAKE = 0.1 PGM/LVL/ 1 STARBITS / 0.05 DEC/ MOTA 0.1 / 15 SBT sent and 3 commands available each day
• 500 PGM in STAKE = 0.1 PGM/LVL/ 1 STARBITS / 0.05 DEC/ MOTA 0.1 / 15 SBT sent and RECEIVED and 5 commands available each day
• 1000 PGM in STAKE = 0.1 PGM/LVL/ and 1 STARBITS / 0.05 DEC/ MOTA 0.1 / 15 SBT sent and RECEIVED and 10 commands available each day
• 5000 PGMs in STAKE = REDUCED RECEIVED AWARDS

So, as you can imagine, we will send 15 SBTs per command while those who have 5000 PGMs in stakes can receive 30 SBTs per command!

• 3 . Exchange PGM for upvotes. You can exchange your existing PGM for a Hive Pover without using the Hive market. You can read more in the official PGM Discord. in this section:

That is, you can find a lot of posts about games: guides, strategies, achievements, earnings or contests, giveaway. Optimal use of the PGM

Disclaimer

Remember that any cryptocurrency, including any token, is not a safe investment tool. Study the information yourself and make your own choices. After all, no one knows your options or your behavioral patterns but you. You do it at your own risk and I do it at my own pleasure!

So, when you've read this and know the risks, you should know the optimal use as well. The optimal will be different for everyone. But obviously, having 5,000 PGM in stake will allow you to earn more PGM in a shorter period of time. In an ideal world where cryptocurrency rates are constant, this is the best strategy. But cryptocurrency rates are fickle. We can skyrocket to the moon in one day, but we can fall to the bottom as well. So my advice is to always follow the rule of diversification. Always!

Since I've been on Hive for a year now, I'm slowly starting to accumulate second-tier tokens. I love it here and want to do more good for the community. PGM have become one of my favorite tokens, so I now have 109 PGM in stake. The goal is 5,000 to share and get a return on my involvement in the Hive blockchain.

It was very difficult for me to find information on tier 2 tokens a year ago. I found it by bits and pieces, learned some points from participants, but understanding comes not as quickly as now. Я долго думал с какого токена начать эту серию постов, так как мне нравятся по своему все токены второго уровня Hive. Многими из них я уже владею и веду ежедневный подсчёт их ценности. Мне не хотелось начинать со всем известных PIZZA, BEER, WINE, LOLZ и так далее. Они будут в следующих моих постах. Я решил начать с относительно нового, набирающего сейчас обороты PGM. Я слежу за ним почти с самого его основания и он мне нравится всё больше. Поэтому давайте начнём!

PGM. Что это.

PGM - Play Gamer токен, это токен второго уровня Hive, который создан для дополнительного поощрения участников Hive. То есть если вы пишете, комментируете или курируете (делаете апвот) постов с тегом #pgm, то вы дополнительно претендуете на вознаграждение в токенах PGM. И всё это в дополнение к HIVE и HBD! Уточнение: чем больше PGM находится у вас в стейке, тем больше PGM вы будете получать от своих активностей, связанных с постами с тегом #pgm.

Ценность PGM для сообщества Hive

Некоторые ценности я уже перечислял выше, когда рассказывал о самом токене, но давайте я попробую собрать в этом разделе всё вместе.

1. Дополнительные вознаграждения. Вы каждый раз претендуете на вознаграждение токеном PGM, когда храните в стейке некоторое количество токенов и постите, курируете или комментируете посты с тегом #pgm. Кстати этот пост тоже имеет этот тег, так что не стесняйтесь задавать вопросы, я обязательно поддержу ваши попытки!

2. Распространение путём команды !PGM. Каждый раз, когда вы пользуетесь командой!PGM, комментируя любые посты участников Hive, вы дарите PGM и одновременно зарабатываете PGM себе. Оптимальное использование PGM

Отказ от ответственности

Помните, что любая криптовалюта, в том числе любой токен - это небезопасный инструмент инвестирования. Изучите информацию самостоятельно и сделайте свой собственный выбор. Ведь никто кроме вас не знает ваших возможностей или ваших шаблонов поведения. Вы это делаете на свой страх и риск, а я это делаю в своё удовольствие!

Итак, когда вы это прочли и знаете о рисках, то должны знать и об оптимальном использовании. Оптимальным будет для каждого своё. Но очевидно, что имея в стейке 5000 PGM, вы сможете заработать больше PGM за менее короткий промежуток времени. В идеальном мире, где курс криптовалют неизменен - это наилучшая стратегия. Но курсы криптовалют непостоянны. Мы можем взлететь на луну за один день, но можем и упасть на дно также. Поэтому советую всегда следовать правилу диверсификации. Всегда!

Так как я уже год на Hive, то я понемногу начинаю накапливать токены второго уровня. Мне здесь нравится и я хочу нести больше пользы сообществу. PGM стал одним из моих любимых токенов, поэтому сейчас у меня в стейке 109 PGM. Цель - 5000, чтобы делиться и получать отдачу от своего вовлечения в блокчейне Hive.
