I don't know exactly how Hive Power Up Day started, but I know that many Hive users have been participating for a long time, even without actively seeking its origin, and it ended up becoming a kind of cultural aspect of the community.

Every 1st of the month is Hive Power Up Day. On this day, users "get together" to collectively increase their Hive Power and end up winning some "prizes" for choosing to do the power up on the 1st and not another day of the month.

Among the prizes, one of the coolest to collect are the Power Bees Badges, which end up being bigger the higher your Power Up. During this ninth HPUD of 2026 I decided to do a Power Up of 50 Hive and thus earn the level 2 badge.

Usually I end up forgetting, and I do a power up of 10 Hive to participate, but since this time I had already seen it in advance and also since the price of Hive is quite low, I decided to do a bigger power up this time.

For those who haven't been following the Hive Blockchain scene, 1 Hive is currently costing around $0.044, so 50 Hive is about $2.17. But there's another very interesting reason to participate more actively during HPUD day, which is networking.

As already mentioned, during HPUD many hive users are active, posting snaps about the event, performing their power-ups, making posts about their power-up, in other words, the community is active on the Hive. Thus, this is a good time to meet new people and have a greater reach with your content as well.

O primeiro dia de setembro chegou e na hive o primeiro dia de cada mês é especial! Todo primeiro dia do mês acontece um evento chamado Hive Power UP Day e esse já é o nono HPUD do ano de 2026.

Já estamos nos aproximando do fim do ano, faltando apenas 4 mês. Desde o início do ano até poucos dias, o cenário para o ecossistema crypto estava bem complicado com o Bitcoin negociando por volta dos $60K, mas agora o sentimento é de um alívio com a recente subida, fazendo com que os projetos ganhassem um tempo para respirar.

No caso do token Hive ele vinha caindo bastante, chegando à ficar abaixo dos $0,04 chegando próximo do débito de 30% da rede, mas agora com essa retomada do BTC, o token teve uma pequena subida, faltando bastante para retomar os valores anteriores do início do ano.

É complicado essa relação entre o ecossistema crypto no geral e o bitcoin, em que é quase que necessário, que o BTC suba para que a liquidez entre no mercado. Diversos projetos mantém a mesma estrutura e lógica, mas acaba ficando nesse sobe e desce... Complicado, mas é assim que funciona em Crypto eu creio.

Eu não sei bem exatamente como começou o Hive Power Up Day, mas sei que muitos usuários da Hive já participavam mesmo sem buscar essa origem desde muito tempo e acabou virando algo meio cultural da comunidade.

Todo dia 1 de cada mês é um Hive Power Up Day. Nesse dia os usuários "se reúnem" para aumentar o seu Hive Power de forma coletiva e acabam ganhando alguns "brindes" por escolher fazer o power up no dia 1 e não outro dia do mês.

Dentre os brindes, um dos mais legais de se colecionar são as Power Bees Badges, que acabam sendo maiores quanto maior é o seu Power Up. Durante esse nono HPUD de 2026 resolvi realizar um Power Up de 50 Hive e com isso ganhar a badge de nível 2.

Geralmente eu acabo esquecendo, e faço um power up de 10 Hive para participar, mas como dessa vez eu já tinha visto com antecedência e também como o preço da Hive está bem baixo, resolvi fazer um power up maior dessa vez.
