Splinterlands (SPL)

In the universe of Splinterlands there's many different tokens and currencies that can be traded. Here today we will go over some of the more actively traded ones on TribalDex (Hive-Engine). Its important to note that some of these mentioned tokens are listed on other markets. Meaning the numbers displayed here do not represent the total sales volume/supply of the mentioned assets here in this post. We will go over the sales volume and other information of the following tokens as displayed by TribalDex. DEC (Dark Energy Crystals), SPS (Splinterlands Governance Token), CHAOS (Most Recent Sold Out NFT Set) and the current Rebellion Set. New to the @rentmoney blog and not sure of what Splinterlands is. No worries I got you covered. Splinterlands is a Play2Earn game on the Hive Blockchain. NFT's are used to play the Splinterlands game and rewards can be earned for playing. Playable NFT's can be found for trade in-game via the marketplace, secondary markets and in NFT sets known as Booster Packs (Contain 5 NFT's; One of the five are guaranteed to be a Rare or better). Dark Energy Crystals

DEC is the main currency within the Splinterlands game and according to Tribal Dex the DEC Supply is as follows; Circulating: 3920977406.667 / Total: 28673344757.508 / Max: 9000000000000. Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) can be traded for game assets within the Splinterlands marketplace. The DEC token current 24hr volume is $8,793. Below we can see the most recent trade orders for DEC as displayed on Tribal Dex. There is plenty of opportunity with DEC as the Splinterlands company accepts the token at the value of $1 USD/1000 DEC. Meaning if the USD value of DEC falls below the $1/1000 on secondary markets one could purchase DEC on said markets for less than its guaranteed value Splinterlands accepts it at ($1/1000 DEC). Such occurrences can make for some interesting and value friendly trading opportunities.

Splinterlands Governance Token

SPS, the Splinterlands Governance Token is an important aspect of the Splinterlands universe. Holding and staking the SPS token allows you to take part in deciding what direction the Splinterlands universe will go. The more SPS you own and have staked the more influence/voting power you have to help pass official proposals that create the overall landscape of Splinterlands. The SPS token has many other usecases as well such as but not limited to purchasing power (trade for in-game assets) and earning potential (Staked Tokens Earn You SPS Tokens). As displayed by Tribal Dex the SPS Supply is as follows; Circulating: 199999899.99476695 / Total: 200000000 / Max: 9007199254740991. The SPS tokens current 24hr volume is $1,795. Chaos Legion Packs

CHAOS is the most recent NFT set that went out of print from the main SPL collection. Meaning you can no longer purchase these directly from the Splinterlands company. However you can purchase them from secondary markets such as TribalDex. Currently these CHAOS Packs are being traded for the astonishing low price of $0.37 USD. CHAOS currently has a 24hr sales volume of just over $1,159 USD. TribalDex displays the CHAOS supply as follows; Circulating: 999999 / Total: 1000000 / MAX: 15000000. Displayed below is the most recent trade orders for the CHAOS NFT Set as displayed on Tribal Dex.

Rebellion Packs

The current and on-going NFT set used to play the SPL (Splinterlands) game is known as Rebellion. This set (unlike CHAOS) can be purchased directly from the SPL company when visiting the official Splinterlands site. When purchasing directly from SPL the trade value of one Rebellion NFT Pack is 4,000 DEC. The Rebellion NFT set can also be purchased on secondary markets such as TribalDex. The current trade value for a Rebellion Pack on TribalDex is $3.16 USD. The 24hr trade volume on TribalDex for REBELLION Packs is $18 USD. I suspect this trade volume to increase significantly once the set goes out of print and is no longer offered for sale by the SPL company. TribalDex displays the Rebellion Pack supply as follows; Circulating: 1000000 / Total: 1000000 / Max: 1000000. If we go to the official Splinterlands site we will see that as of 11/27/2024 there is a total of 536,000* remaining before being officially sold out. Burns were done for CHAOS and REBELLION so the raw displayed numbers recorded by TribalDex don't tell the full details. The first image displayed on this page shows that CHAOS Legion has a current circulating supply of 1,951,869 with 10,463,000 opened packs (2,585,132 Packs have been burned). That same first image also shows the current available amount of Rebellion packs 536,735 that can be purchased before the Rebellion set goes out of print. 56,894 is the current circulating supply of Rebellion Packs with 915,776 Rebellion Packs opened. 848,342 Rebellion Packs are in the DAO with 7,642,253 Rebellion Packs being the current burned amount.
