Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) has been gaining a lot of attention lately. The viewpoint of this recent hype is to take DEC to its pegged value! Which would boost the economy of SPLINTERLANDS. For that to happen few changes needs to be made. For which currently three proposals are active. Where the community shall decide which way DEC should be going! For those who are not aware what a proposal of Splinterlands is please read this
A proposal is a suggestion to change something in the Splinterlands game or ecosystem. Players with staked SPS can vote for or against these proposals. Each staked SPS token will be worth one vote, so the more SPS tokens a player has staked, the more they will be able to influence the results of the votes.
All of these changes, if approved by the community it would significantly affect the value of DEC and we might see it back at the pegged value. Well as you may see the community is indeed speaking. And seems some are not really happy with the offered changes. This the second and third proposal in getting a beating in terms of loosing.
Currently DEC is priced at $0.00080
. As it is slowly moving towards pegged value. 20% more and there will be what we all have been seeking for. Dark Energy Crystal (DEC) is currently available for purchase or sell at two places (Actually three if we count UNISWAP).
As you may see in Pancakeswap, there is something going on. DEC has rise to 14% which is indeed an amazing performance to comprehend. Although, some of the pools seem to share different statistics. Not sure what is happening but seems like DEC/BUSD pool has a liquidity of $588.41K
.

DEC/BUSD
pool : APR 7.30% (LP REWARD )Coming to talk about DEC on HIVE Blockchain. Currently there are two places where you can purchase/sell DEC tokens in HIVE blockchain.
Currently on HIVE-Engine the volume has been rising! Volume in swap-HIVE 127670.47 and in USD $60119.51
! I am quite surprised to see this happening. And this amount of volume is quite amazing for a pair in HIVE-Engine. Although, I like how the graph is slowly moving upward!

There is a 3.8% change in the price of DEC in the last 24 hours and I am believing the number is going to change in the next few days as well. Well, mostly in positive ways of course.
In Tribaldex, there are several pools of DEC! Which gives it a much more variety of options to trade! In case if you are looking for instant trade without waiting for the market order, I would suggest try diesel pools. As they are much faster than of HIVE-Engine.

So I really am quite optimistic about DEC reaching to its pegged value anytime soon. Now the big question arises how long is it going to stay at pegged value. Since there were some steps which needed to be taken what happens when this steps will not be there to hold the price of DEC! While what is going to happen to SPS? I suppose I have so many questions atm but I am aware SL will probably find the best suitable outcome for themselves and its investors like us as well! It is going to be a WIN-WIN situation for us all!
I am eagerly awaiting to see what will happen to the price of DEC! As last time it surpassed the value of pegged and surprised everyone with a whopping price range. If that happens again a lot of aspects are going to change. But either way it would be good to see DEC going back to its pegged value.

The rise in DEC seems unstoppable right now!! Thanks for the great insights.
Great read there. So which splinterlands asset would you advice a Splinterlands starter to buy into first: DEC or SPS ?
