Leo Power up day is barely four (3) hours away from the time of writing. I don't know about you but I'm excited to participate in this event. I've got my LEO ready as shown in a previous article, and here I am anxiously waiting for the 15th to come around.
As much as the event of LPUD is no longer news in the LeoFinance community, the fact still remains that there are a number of people on LeoFinance who are ignorant of how to participate even when they're eligible for participation. Just last month I asked the same question - how do I participate in LPUD without realising it was a very simple process. Here we go.
How to power up LEO
Participating in LPUD (Leo Power up day) is as simple as powering up or staking the available LEO in your wallet. I'm going to assume you're already logged into your LeoFinance account. The simple steps is as seen below;
- On the Leofinance home page, click on your username or avatar on the top right corner of the screen. A drop down menu appears with several options such as profile, posts, replies, and so on.
- Click on the wallets options as indicated in below screenshot. This will take you to your LeoFinance wallet where you will perform the Powering up activity.
- Your wallet should be as indicated in below screenshot except that the value of LEO token may vary since we can't possibly have the same number value of LEO token.
- Beside the amount of available LEO tokens are three buttons which says 'Send LEO', 'Trade on Leo-Dex', and 'Power Up'. We want to power up so we'd click on the third option which says 'Power up'.
- Clicking the Power up button brings the option as seen in below screenshot where you'd simply enter the desired amount of LEO tokens to be powered up or staked as indicated by the red arrow, after which you'd simply press the 'continue' button as indicated by the blue arrow, and it is done.
- Follow the above steps and you'd see that Powering up is really easy.
Note that the minimum amount requirement to participate in LPUD is a value of 150 LEO tokens.
As seen in my wallet, I have a total of 183.403 LEO tokens and 0.000 LP (Leo Power). Powering up would mean transferring from the LEO Tokens (LEO) as indicated by red arrow into Leo Power (LP) as indicated by the blue arrow.
