Can You Handle Transparency? .:. WorkerBee PH-Pool Week 137
One of the most important things that attracted me to cryptocurrencies and the blockchain tech in general, was transparency... Before getting into this space, I was running a company and I have experienced firsthand how many things are done "under the table", or "behind closed doors"... Most of the time, until the information comes out what was discussed behind the doors, the small entrepreneur didn't have time to react and had to pay a big price for lagging of information...

On the other side, in most of the blockchains, you can SEE what is happening on the chain... You have to follow the money easily, you can "control" who is talking a talk and walking a walk in the opposite direction.... 😃 And believe me, there are many people who are doing that... But, transparency brought something else to the table too... Yes, you can scratch the surface, research, investigate... and when you do that, you usually FIND things that you wouldn't like to see... You can find the truth ON THE CHAIN...

But, when you find it, can you handle the truth? It's not "sugar-coated" as many times you get served information on our "beloved" TV... Yes, there will be a recession, but it will be a soft landing and it will not be that bad... "Yes, inflation went up, but you will get a higher salary" (but not that much higher to catch up with the inflation)... You understand what I mean...
Blockchain is cruel... it's brutal... you can't sugar-coat things... It's data that everyone can see... When I research certain projects, the starting point is the WALLET, after that, it's the blockchain explorer, and after that, the following transactions... Follow the money, it will show you the way...
We asked for transparency and we got it... But, can we handle it? Can you handle the truth? Do you use blockchain explorers and follow the money?
Back to the Workerbeee report numbers!
In the 7 days, we didn't get new members in the pool... We got some new delegations from existing members! Thanks for your trust!
In the last 7 days, we mined 134 BEE tokens in total!!!
This POOL doesn't have fees and you get up to 20% MORE by delegating to it!
What about the bonus tokens?
When I find a good token that exists and lasts for some time, I try to stick to it... If I like the whitepaper, the "fund manager", and his story matches the transaction on the chain, I invest funds into it... One of those projects is the CTPSB, which has a token that is backed up by HivePower... As I believe in HIVE, this token is a no-brainer for me as the final goal is to have as much possible HivePower... I was distributing CTPSB tokens in the past and I will do that today too...
There will be distributed 3.5 CTPSB tokens to the delegators of the pool as a bonus reward today!
As always, in the end, let's give the exact numbers for this week... There will be distributed 134 BEE tokens and 3.5 CTPSB tokens as a bonus... The APR (without the bonus) was 6.301%, and when we added the bonus it went up to 7.532%!
I have calculated the ROI approximately with medium prices for all tokens at the moment of creating this post... So, those numbers are valid if you bought WB and sold BEE tokens at the middle HiveEngine price...

I like the transparency of the blockchain and that is why I don't think crime is as easily done because we can track things to an extent.

Ah... that's debatable... 😃 You know that saying... Never before in history, it wasn't easier to find ANY information as we have the Internet... On the other side, most people are too lazy to make an effort and actually do it... 😃 THe same goes for blockchains and transparency... Yes, I understand. I never get a higher salary as the inflation. We always come from behind so the increase in our salary is already devalued.
It is designed to work like that... The only way to "stop" the inflation is to "make someone" pay it... Usually, ordinary people pay the price of money printing and over-spending of the rich...

Many are not equipped to handle the truth. That might include myself too. Still, the premise of knowing the truth for me outweighs the cons and will give valuable learnings in order to plan ahead and take necessary actions on those that we can control.
Knowing the truth BEFORE taking some "investment" action (or any other action) is very useful as it can save us a lot of money, stress, and some future issues... On the other side, you get your "slap in the face" in advance, so it hurts too... but at least, doesn't hurt in "the long term" 😃
Today, I had a discussion with friends on this topic as I found some of my posts "too negative" as my "shit tolerance" is lower and lower... We have many shady things, especially in crypto, and I can't stand some of that anymore... Especially those patterns that are repeating over and over again... Many people choose to close one eye and don't check and research, and when you serve them the truth, they get offended... They want a "different truth", the one that is sweet...
