I went to the glossary from the rug pull link and someone in South Africa is busy with something that sounds very much like this. He was offering to give an acquaintance some coin I hadn't heard of, telling him how much it was going to value and blah blah.

I couldn't figure out why someone would be giving crypto away but the acquaintance is quite high profile and I'm guessing it was to encourage people to invest by word of mouth. I sent the person I know this info and suggested he not encourage the set up. He knows nothing about crypto at all so...
