Crypto is breaking the gender bias in wealth creation

Greetings wonderful and great hivers of this community @Leofinance. I’m so happy to be posting for the first time in this community. So this topic that has been on my mind lately.

Source
I had this friend from Secondary school who is into the crypto currency and block chain. I do admire his intelligence, energy and diligence. Since I am a girl who loves technology and would love to explore the crypto world, so one day I decided that I would approach him and talk to him if he could lecture me on few things.
On this fateful day, I met him and we started chatting about crypto currency and I told him that I would love him to teach me a few things about crypto currency and block chain. All of a sudden he started laughing, out of curiosity I asked why he was laughing instead of replying me. In return, He asked me whether I have seen any woman that has succeeded in the crypto world that the crypto world was meant for guys, that guys really succeed in crypto currency because of the energy they invest. He also said the women were meant for the fashion world. I was shocked and immediately I was furious and angry, I really felt bad. What a discrimination!
He wanted arguing about it but I told him I wasn’t in the mood, that’ll come back the next day. I went back home and started a research on women who succeeded and presently are making it in the crypto world and I had an excellent results. I was happy that we have women that are standing out and making it in crypto currency.
I didn’t go to meet him again because he was already a big discouragement. Coming to this community, I was happy and super excited to find devoted ladies here.

While women have been historically belittled and underrepresented in the crypto world, there has been a growing push towards greater involvement and representation in recent years.

Despite the challenges facing women in the crypto world, there are many women who have made significant contributions and achieved success in the industry. Here are some examples:

Elizabeth Stark: Stark is the co-founder and CEO of Lightning Labs, a company focused on developing solutions for scaling Bit coin and other crypto currencies. She is also an active advocate for the use of block chain technology to promote financial inclusion and empower individuals.

Amber Baldet: Baldet is the co-founder and CEO of Clovyr, a platform that enables developers and enterprises to build and deploy blockchain applications. She was previously the blockchain program lead at JP Morgan, where she helped to develop the company's blockchain strategy.

Perianne Boring: Boring is the founder and president of the Chamber of Digital Commerce, a Washington D.C.-based trade association dedicated to promoting the use of blockchain technology. She has also been a prominent advocate for blockchain regulation and public policy.

Joyce Kim: Kim is the co-founder and executive director of Stellar, a decentralized payment network that uses block chain technology. She has also been involved in several other block chain-related projects, including the venture capital firm Spark Chain Capital.

Blythe Masters: Masters is a former executive at JP Morgan who is credited with creating the first credit default swap. She later founded Digital Asset Holdings, a company that uses block chain technology to improve the efficiency of financial markets.

These women and many others have made significant contributions to the crypto world, preparing for greater diversity in the industry.

Here are some unique ways in which women are becoming more involved in the crypto world:

  1. It could be through events, seminars, and online courses focused on crypto currency and block chain technology.

2.Organising Women-centred networking and mentorship programs to help women connect with each other and find support in the industry. These programs often is centred on creating a sense of community and providing opportunities for professional growth.

3.Major women are starting their own crypto-related businesses, such as exchanges and other block chain-based companies. This not only helps to increase representation but also provides more opportunities for women to succeed and lead in the crypto world.

  1. Women are increasingly and daily using their voices to advocate for greater diversity in the crypto world. This includes speaking out about issues such as harassment and discrimination, and pushing for change within the industry.

Hive block chain is one of the wonderful platform that has also help ladies and women to be involved in the crypto world and they have also been supporting and encouraging the women. I have also seen devoted ladies and women here in hive block chain who are making it in the crypto world and I’m proud to be one of them.
While progress has been made, there is still much work to be done to ensure that women are fully represented and included in the crypto world. By continuing to push for greater involvement and advocating for change, women can build the future of the industry and make it fair and just for all.
