I'm currently watching the series Covert Affairs, a CIS series, on Prime.
I really enjoy watching spy series like this, and since I only have Amazon Prime, that's all I have to watch at the moment. At least I haven't found anything else I want to watch there yet.

Unfortunately, I'm almost done, because I've reached the fifth and final season.

When I wanted to watch the fourth episode, I was quite surprised because suddenly it was in Japanese, at least that's what it sounded like to me, and I saw that Japanese was the only language available for dubbing. There are other languages available, but they are not Asian languages.

I was really upset because there are no German subtitles at all, and without subtitles, there are scenes where you feel like you're missing something. After all, the series often takes place abroad, or there are foreign agents or enemies in the US.

I then set it to Hungarian, which I understand quite well. I also had English on, but in fact some things weren't translated there either. I think it said something like “Talking in a foreign language.”

But I thought it was important information that could be useful.

By the way, I tried the German stereo sound track, but that was also in Japanese.
I won't write about what I did to understand the fourth episode. I'm sure you can guess. Fortunately, it was only this one episode; the following ones were in German again.

momentan gucke ich auf Prime die Serie Covert Affairs, eine CIS Serie.
Ich gucke sehr gerne solche Agenten Serien an und da ich nur noch Amazon Prime habe, blieb mir nur das übrig momentan. Zumindest habe ich noch nichts anderes gefunden, was ich dort gucken will.

Bin aber leider auch schon bald durch, denn ich bin in der fünften und somit letzten Staffel angekommen.

Als ich dann mir die vierte Folge angucken wollte, habe ich nicht schlecht gestaunt, denn auf einmal war es auf Japanisch, klang für mich zumindest so und ich habe geschaut, es gibt nur japanisch als Synchronisation. Also gibt noch mehr, aber das sind keine asiatischen Sprachen.

Habe mich echt aufgeregt, denn bereits beim Untertitel fehlt deutsch gänzlich und ohne Untertitel gibt es Szenen, bei denen einem etwas fehlt. Schließlich findet die Serie oft im Ausland statt, oder es sind ausländische Agenten bzw. Feinde in den USA.

Habe mir dann hilfsweise dafür Ungarisch eingestellt, was ich ja ganz gut verstehe. Hatte auch englisch an, aber tatsächlich wurden da auch teils Sachen nicht übersetzt. Ich glaube da stand sowas wie "Unterhalten sich in einer Fremdsprache".

Fand aber schon, dass es doch wichtige Informationen waren, die man gebrauchen konnte.

Ich hatte übrigens die deutsche Stereo Ton Spur versucht, aber auch die war auf japanisch.
Ich schreibe mal nicht, was ich gemacht habe, damit ich die 4. Folge verstehe. Könnt ihr euch sicherlich denken. Zum Glück war es nur diese eine Folge, die nachfolgenden waren wieder auf Deutsch.
