The Benefits Of A Bear Market?

From November of last year it crypto markets as a whole have been trending down. In finance the definition of a bear market is when stocks are down more than 20%. Technically for crypto markets this hit around Jan. 2022, yet bulls of the assets continue marching forward.
Only up to as late as early May did a significant blow in the crypto markets occurred. This is in regards to Terra's Luna and UST blowing up. The two tokens combined had close to $60 billion in nominal value which may sound small compare to the overall crypto market. Yet still with UST overlap across multiple chains and the fact it was designed to be a stable coin there was significant amount of users losing trust in the space.
The further draw down in crypto could potentially be worse in the coming weeks and months as more people lose faith and trust in crypto. Yet this maybe where it lies the real potential for big gains.
During difficult and challenging times the ones that succeed are often the ones that do the best at what they do. Hard times are the best periods where we allow the free market to determine which ones should stay and thrive and which ones turn into dust.
If a project that has drop in value during the bear market mostly due to sentient it maybe a good start to accumulate. Done the road those that had passed the bear market and come out stronger.

The bear market is the time to build and I agree that many projects will die during the bear market. Of course, when the bull market starts again, the ones that stayed strong and kept developing will flourish because they had everything ready for the bull market.

The bear market can be so lucrative. If can buy different altcoins and even dca. Keeping some stable coins ready has it's advantages !

I have around 40% in stables but they were all ust so I pretty much got wrecked. Will have to rebuild first even though markets are down.
Bear market is what weed the strong and courageous from the weak. Your profit feels sweeter when you Hodled during the bear market tough time.

There are definitely some bargains starting to show up.
Research before you buy though, because some coins won't recover. If you look at the top coins at the 2017 peak, about half never regained their 2017 high.
Let us be ready for another 2017 high or 2021 high!
Bear markets are giving us opportunity to build our coffers and enjoy them when the bull season comes. Only the strong survive they say so let's be among them :)

I love the quote about hard times create strong men. This is the time when the market shifts out the valuable from the not valuable, the strong and the not so strong. As long as you have a strong foundation, you can weather the storm and come out stronger.

With CUB being where it is, this is the best opportunity to fill those bags. Where else can you buy at fire sale prices a cryptocurrency with the team as trustworthy as the Cub Finance team overseen by Khal?
There may be other Layer 2 tokens in a similar situation here on Hive, but I only know that CUB is in drydock waiting to be retrofitted and upgraded with features tested and passed at PolyCub.

5 years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Obviously bear market gives opportunity to accumulate more and more but the thing is not every single crypto will come back after bear market and terra luna is recent example, It was strong project too but see what happened. Right now i only believe in btc, ether and hive. It is good idea to accumulate more hive, leo and sps in this bear market.
