What I earned from the last Splinterlands season

What’s up my fellow players!

Well, we witnessed the 107th ranked season end of Splinterlands and I hope that by now, all of you who have played in this season have collected your season rewards already. For me, even after performing below average throughout the season, I have somehow got able to reach champ II tier and completed the season by collecting total 71 season chests this time. Looking at my previous season performances, thou tier wise I have achieved the same Champ II position in my previous seasons also, in the old ones I use to collect only around 55-60 season chests, but this time it has changed drastically upwards. Not to mention that after the energy meter update in ranked gameplay, the reward outcome for me has improved way better now and this season, I pulled some good foils and legendary soul bound cards along with a handful of chaos packs and other assets which I am going to share and discuss below. However, I am very happy with the reward outcome but unhappy with my performance which needs to be checked. Now, before we move towards the main theme, let’s first take a glance at my certain stats in this season.

Season Performance

By the time I stopped playing in the last day of this season, I had secured 4021 trophy count and thus secured my place in Champ II tier with marginal distance from it’s entry trophy level. However, the highest trophy point that I went up in this season was 4282. So, I was very close from teaching the ultimate tier of Champ I. Seeing this progress, I am quite sure that there’s not much left before I enter this sacred place and start playing in Champ I and with the legend players of this game. But if you look at my win to lose ratio, I did pretty bad there by securing only 0.88 ratio point. Out of total 404 ranked matches that I played in this season, I won only 189 matches and lost 215 and finished the season by securing 645th rank in champion leaderboard.

Season earnings

Let’s now look at the chart that I share above in which, all my token and card earnings are grouped down. As you can see, I bagged about totally 258.61 SPS only from daily focus chests but after opening the season chests, my lick finally shined and I got blessed with total 1021.45 SPS from season reward chests, making it total 1280+ SPS earned by playing this season. I also got lucky with the chaos packs and got 3 packs from daily chests and 2 packs from the season openings, making it total 5 in this season. By the way, I am also participating in the daily bdvoter chaos pack giveaway in twitter and already won myself 2 chaos packs from there also and no doubt, for now I will be holding all these packs for now. Looking at rest, I got a whooping amount of total 715 legendary potions and 460 alchemy potions in this season along with total 11016 merit tokens as well and for cards, I got myself total 420 soul bound reward cards which I am about to talk in detail Below.

Cards

Playing Splinterlands is even more fun now cause we can now collect soul bound cards from daily focus reward chests and season chests and unlike previous reward edition cards, these cant be sold, transferred or burned until the next edition cards come in place. Some of these new soul bound cards are too powerful and if you are a regular player, you must be using or seeing them Playing against you already in battles. I am also playing daily and trying to collect as many of them as possible with time, so that I can upgrade them faster and use them in my games. In this season, I have gathered a lot of cards from playing ranked matches and opening daily and season chests and looking at numbers, below is the breakdown of my cards

As you can see, for normal foils, I have collected total 330 common cards, 32 rare cards, 20 epic cards and 6 legendary cards making it total 388 regular foil cards that I got throughout the season. For gold foils, I got 24 common cards, 4 rare cards and 4 epic cards but sadly, I still haven't found even a single gold foil legendary since the soul bounds kicked in. But overall, I am happy with the outcome and obviously this big bunch of cards will surely help me upgrade my own faster.

I have shared the whole season reward openings in the first screenshot above and in the second one, I have shared my collection from the whole season including all dailies and season openings. As you can see, playing in Champ league really affects the reward outcome and unlike in below league, almost everyday I get at least one good reward in form of SPS or cards from them. Thou it’s pretty hard to play and secure a position in the top champion league in this game, the amazing rewards really pays it well for the hard work.
