It is important to set financial Goals

Hello Readers,

It is important to have financial goals set in all of our lives because not only does it help us to stay on track, but it also helps us to analyze our performance and how to tackle any hurdle that comes or makes us realize whenever we are behind our goals. If we currently look at the bleeding crypto market and especially focus on the hive, things are looking scary Red and in these types of volatility, many of us start panicking and often make Wrong decisions while getting captured by emotions. But if we create a financial goal and stick to it, stop getting carried away by emotions and continue working on our goals, I think we can reach our goal in time.

As a crypto lover and an author on Hive, I have been interacting on this blockchain for a long time now and also earning money in the form of crypto tokens for writing posts and threads, playing games and some other activities. Not only does this earning help me to live a life and run my family but I also am making a decent saving over time, mainly in the form of crypto tokens like Hive and Leo power, HBD, SPS and some other tokens. But, as I do not have a particular goal I often make bad decisions on investments or lose motivation and carry away by bad emotions. So today, I decided to make a financial goal for me where I will be posting weekly updates on my progress. This will mainly do 2 things, first I will be able to track my weekly progress and analyze how I can do better. Secondly, it will help me focus on my main goals and hopefully block me from making any unnecessary or emotional financial decisions, like using my hard earned money to invest in new projects and getting my hands burned. So, without any further ado, let us begin.

For my financial goal in Hive, I will be focusing mainly on 3 assets - Hive Power, HBD and Leo Power. Because I personally believe they are simply the most 3 important tokens of this entire chain and unlike most of the other tokens, they bring actual value to the system and also possess very good fundamentals. So let me create 3 separate goals for these 3 assets which I will try to reach before the end of this year.

HIVE

For the Hive token, I mainly focus on increasing my Hive Power because it earns me decent curation rewards and because it is in staked form, I can not spend it even if my mind taunts me. I have been saving all my earned Hive power for a while now and since my last Power Down, I have successfully increased it from around 9300 HP to 11,412 HP currently.

As a goal, I have decided to increase my Hive power to 15k before the end of this year and for that, I have to earn another around 3600 HP within the next 6 months. Now this is almost impossible for me to fill with just author rewards so I have to put something more from outside. Gladly, because of the low price of Hive token, now we are earning less HBD but more Hive power so I must have to write one post every day. I have already started doing this for the last 2 or 3 weeks now but I have to admit writing a decent and unique post is not an easy task at all. However, the Inleo calendar prompt is helping me to get unique topics whenever I struggle to find one good topic myself. Apart from that, I have also started interacting more in Leothreads as it is helping me to earn a small amount of HIVE power and HBD along with Leo tokens.

HBD

For HBD, I have already started a goal and saving my HBD earnings from posts into JBD savings. So far I have saved 1770 HBD in my savings and it is earning me a decent interest every month as last month I earned around 24.5 HBD just from HBD savings which I again re-staked into my savings wallet. With HBD, my goal is to save at least 2500 HBD before the end of this year. I also have to withdraw a portion of my earnings every month to run myself and my family but I am thinking of cutting some expenses until this downtrend continues so that I can focus more on savings.

LEO

Now talking about Leo Power, I just reached a stake of a total of 11k Leo power in my account which is now earning me a decent curation reward in the form of Leo tokens. But before the year ends, I eagerly want to reach 15k Leo power so that I can earn the lion Title and also earn more curation rewards. I generally post my blogs on the Inleo platform every day which earns me a decent amount of Leo every day. I save them throughout the month and on the LPUD event which happens on the 15th date of every month, I power up at least 150 Leo. But from now on and whenever possible, I will try to buy Leo tokens from the market and stake them to boost my progress in Leo power.

Well, these are my 3 goals and I know I have set a big goal for myself and it will be hard to reach there before the year's end. But I will try my best to reach there and even if I do not reach it within the year's end, I will be at least closer to my goal and maybe working for another month or 2 will get me there. So I should not lose hope and keep working and maybe one day, I will finally reach there.
