US and Taiwan Shake Hands on a Sweeter Trade Deal

The US and Taiwan just wrapped up a big trade agreement that's set to make things easier for businesses on both sides. Signed off by Trump administration folks on February 12, 2026, in Washington, this deal drops US tariffs on Taiwanese imports to 15% from a previous 20%.
