Binance to launch crypto payments in Kyrgyzstan

Binance has entered into a strategic partnership with Kyrgyzstan's National Agency for Investments to launch crypto payments and advance blockchain education in the country.

This collaboration was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed during the inaugural meeting of Kyrgyzstan’s Council for the Development of Digital Assets, attended by President Sadyr Japarov.

Binance will introduce its payment platform, Binance Pay, in Kyrgyzstan, enabling residents and visitors to conduct crypto-based transactions seamlessly. This initiative aims to simplify and accelerate cross-border payments, not only within Kyrgyzstan but across Central Asia and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

Academy will collaborate with Kyrgyz government agencies and financial institutions to develop comprehensive blockchain and digital finance literacy programs. These educational efforts target government officials, financial professionals, students, and the general public to foster a knowledgeable Web3 ecosystem and support local crypto entrepreneurs.

The partnership focuses on building a sustainable and innovation-friendly crypto ecosystem in Kyrgyzstan, enhancing financial inclusion, and promoting digital transformation in the region.

Former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has also committed to advising Kyrgyzstan on blockchain and crypto regulation, further supporting the country's regulatory framework development.

This collaboration marks a significant step for Kyrgyzstan in embracing digital assets and blockchain technology, positioning the country as a growing hub for crypto innovation in Central Asia.
