Discord Phishing - A momentary lapse of judgement

Hello and welcome to all the readers.

Yesterday in inleo discord, i got a message that my ticket was closed. When i checked the ticket i did not find any response. So, i created a new ticket linking with the previous one.

Then i went into inleo general section and added a message that my ticket was closed without response.

In reply, i got a message, that the ticket system is loaded, create a new one to get quick result. There was a link too.

I responded, that i have already created a new one.

In reply, i was told to use the link.

That's where my stupidity kicked in, i clicked on the link, it was asking me to join a ticket server.
I suspected to be phishing link, but it was past midnight and was looking for answer, so i joined.

The admin, asked me to create a ticket and then when i told him about the issue. He asked me about my account details. I gave him my hive user name.
In reply, the admin, asked for my wallet address. metamask or trust wallet link. So that he can link it to my hive-engine and process it.

I did not give him my details, but probed him for more information.

Meanwhile, i went back to the inleo discord and saw that the messages send by this guy were deleted.

This confirmed that it was phishing link.

I did not wait for his reply, i deleted the new ticket server from my discord.

I am sharing this, so that everyone is aware and don't make the same mistake like me.
It was a momemtary lapse of my judgement and could have cost me.

My learning from this incident is:

Do not click on any external links share within discord, however desperate you are to get a answer.

Ticket systems are internal to the discord group you join.

Free giveaways are good to be true especially when the amounts are big.

I did see, few more had clicked on the link. I am hoping they did not share their wallet link.
