A little drop of water makes a mighty ocean is a common quote I hear people say, but doesn't always necessarily refer to water but rather how the little we gather over time gathers to become a huge amount that we even get surprised over what we are able to achieve within the set period.

I've always been an advocate for saving no matter how small for future security, also there is always a sense of confidence we feel, knowing that we have something saved somewhere. Instead of exhausting all your earnings, I know it's not easy now, especially with the current inflation taking over everywhere, but if we put our mind to it, it will be achievable.

Discovering hive has brought about a financial turnaround for a lot of us, we now know the value of savings, investing, and trading through the numerous options available for us on the blockchain And one significant form of saving and showing support for the blockchain is by powering up, as this activity shows our belief and support in the growth of the blockchain, it also serves as a form of savings and investments to us as the higher our hp the more curation reward we get in return.

AUGUST LPUD

Just like hive, we can also power up our Leo then, you might be wondering why, every 15th day of the month has been set aside for LPUD, to show our support for the Leofinance community as Leo is the primary token of the community.

Powering up our Leo also helps us to gain a bigger LP helps us earn more Leo through curation.

I have been opportune to participate in several LPUDs before now, though I have not been consistent lately due to low funds and was unhappy about it, if not for @princessbusayo who updated us into neoxiancity discord about the newly updated minimum Leo needed to participate in the LPUD which is today has been lesson, from 150 to 50 Leo, A nice adoption I must say, I was intrigued because thos time around, I don't have to stay back and feel bad about not participating out on LPUD.

On this 8th LPUD of the year, I have been able to power up 51 Leo, before the powerup, I had about 470 Leo,

Powering up brought up 51, brought my Leo power to a total nummber of 521,

if I hadn't stop for a while due to trying to beat offline expenses, I probably would have been close to doubling this amount, its feels great to be back.
