(edited)When you say "rates" you email on Listnerds, do you mean vote on it? That seems about right, it's a good rate. And it can be for multiple reasons:
- users only have a very limited number of votes per day if they don't stake CTP, so they don't vote on every email they open
- they didn't like your email enough to give it an upvote
- it's another step they'd have to do - if they are in a hurry, they might skip this step
Let's look at it this way: do you believe it is more likely that someone from Hive gives you an upvote on Listnerds (and on Hive) if you add a post to Hive or a direct link to a product you promote?

In my humble opinion, the key problem is the number of letters for which you can vote (in my case, only four - one vote takes 25% that are restored for more than a day).
The second point is, of course, that they are in a hurry. I think if a certain timer was introduced, users would read more carefully what they were sent.
