The MASK token from Metamask wallet is coming soon

When we talk about non-custodial wallets, the first name that comes to mind is MetaMask, and it is because it is one of the most popular wallets. There are many wallets available in the crypto market, but I think MetaMask is very popular. I'm not sure if it is popular because it was launched a long time ago. I have been using this wallet for some time, and I had no idea when it was created, so I did some Google research and found that it was created in 2016.

It's like this wallet has completed nine years in the market, and I think this is a good amount of time, so considering that, not because the project is coming with its token, which will be called Mask. Sounds like a good idea. Based on the information on the label on the Internet, around 30 million users use this wallet, which is again a good count of users.

MetaMask was created by Consensys in 2016 as MIT-licensed open source software. Before 2019, MetaMask had only been available as a desktop browser extension for Google Chrome and Firefox browsers.

With token distribution, generally, projects try to get some funding from the market so that they get more resources that they can utilise to grow the project, and it works in the same fashion when a company goes into the market and asks for funds so that they can work on their expenses and some other growth plans in the organisation.

This time, there is no information available on how the distribution is going to happen for the token. There is no update about its release date exactly, but it is mentioned that soon we will have this token as a label for us. Also, they have not discussed any type of AirDrop if they are planning to, but generally, if you go by the history, such projects do some sort of AirDrop to their users, which is a kind of reward for loyalty.

Because the user base for this wallet is big, if they are going to AirDrop some tokens, it will add a lot of sales pressure to the coin, and if it happens, then let's see how it is going to be in the market, because creating a lot of sales pressure means a lot of people will dump the coins in the market. A lot of people believe that air drops are just for the profit booking and they do not like to hold it for the long but because meta mask has got some credibility in this space S probably the community might think that there will be more utility in future and that could be the reason why they might hold it but you never know how the market reacts.

I used Metamask for some time, so if the drop is going to happen I would love to get something but for now as I already mentioned that there is no update about it So it is a time when we need to keep an eye on this update and see if anything is coming for the community or its loyal users who have been using the wallet.
