Personally, I prefer renting but my wife wanted a house so we got one 2 years ago. It's great though, very comfortable! Sometimes the debt hurts but I am going to be free as early as possible. 😋

Sounds to me that your wife is the boss in ur family? Hehe, it is suppose to be that way! Somewhat I am in the same sitatuon. If it was 100% up to me I would have rented an appartment and then buy two/three small units and rent them out and then keep on building😎
My terms was that it needed to be a rental unit in the house if we were to buy it, lol!
