Hive Anniversary

Wow, its been a year on the Hive platform. What a year it has been. We all see that this is how social media should be done and its been nice seeing how this community continues to grow and support each other.

One thing I have failed to do is tell the community about myself, so I would like to do that briefly before I jump on to what I have learned from my first year with hive. I got introduced to hive though @titusfrost and his pirate community, after much encouragement I made it a point to figure out how to make an account. At the time it seemed so different from other platforms and did involve a learning curve for myself.

How do I use Hive? I use it as a source of information and getting others perspective. @leofinance community has really helped me understand different aspects of Crypto's and what is a good or bad investment, those who publish regularly continue to impress me with being able to find relevant information and also reading in between the lines.

One thing that had been on my mind was how to get started in Crypto's. One of the suggestions was to start by writing articles on hive, and posting regularly to @actifit. So I generally will post daily there with some sort of meme just to be silly or dumb. What I did not expect is how by getting my daily steps it would involve me trying to get my girls out on the walk with me. This actually slows me down, but this time together is worth much more to me. The steps will increase when they get bigger and are able to keep up.

Where you probably see most of my post will be related to Whisky/Whiskey. I enjoy having a nice drink and like to post some reviews. Thanks @steevc and @bozz for being active in this community. I promise I will post some quality content in the future.

One area I did not expect to be as active in is the creative side of Hive, I see how story telling and inspiration work hand and hand. @melinda010100 and @eolianpariah2 have put some great shadow guessing games on here and have also sparked short inspiration for me. I enjoy looking at this community because it always show me that we can work on our own creativity and see it from a different point of view.

How do I plan on using Hive in the next year?

For one, I see that I need to be more active in these communities. I would like to post more quality content regularly and focus on some of my personal interest. Lately I have been repairing espresso machines and should be posting about these. I do enjoy reading the different write ups but can do better on upvoting and commenting, I don't always comment because of being busy or someone else has already stated what I was thinking. I will work on this.

I am looking to the future and think we have plenty of room for growth, but here is looking to the next year of HIVE!

Electronic-terrorism, voice to skull and neuro monitoring on Hive and Steem. You can ignore this, but your going to wish you didnt soon. This is happening whether you believe it or not. https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism

Congrats! A full year on the blockchain is no small feat. Especially with all of the ups and downs we see. People come and go far too often. Sticking with it will pay off in spades in the end. I'd love to see some more activity in the whiskey community. I mean who doesn't love to drink. Okay, I can think of a couple people. Anyway. Congrats!

I really agree with you on getting the whiskey side more popular. I have been thinking about how to put together a tasting guide post. I have been collecting some images to help with this. I really need the time to write it out is all.

Sounds like it will be awesome! I can't wait to see it!

I think that it is better to drink water than alcohol. But this is a question of taste (and lifestyle for some people), of course.

Happy Anniversary on the Hive blockchain.

Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

It's an exciting time for Hive. I hope it's a good year for you and you can persuade others to join up.

I have been working on this and letting people know how amazing it is, but I am shocked at how many people don't want to put in any effort. This will grow I think the educating is happening but people need to just take the next step.
