Emotions And Finance

Our attitude towards finance shows how we have been able to put our emotions to control, funny enough emotions are what keeps us going as humans and can be dangerous when not put into proper control. This has caused a lot of people pain and regret as some are in jail, hospital or one state they never expected to be because they are not able to have fun control over their emotions.

We also express our emotions when it comes to loving someone, most times we mistake emotions for love not knowing we are just carried away by our emotions. Love is a choice and you have to be intentional about it not just having a feeling way beyond that, loving someone you have to be very intentional.

Just as emotions are part of what makes us humans, it also affects our financial decisions. Most people think emotions are all about when you are in love, when you have to keep your emotions in check but when making financial decisions to make investment or spend money it is also necessary to keep our emotions in check too.

One of the reasons why most people fall for scammers is because of our emotions, the scammers will feed us with words that we are expecting to hear and probably show us the things we wished to see, making us believe in things that are impossible. This evening while coming back from school I meet a junior college complaining to me he has not paid is school fees and the portal is about to close, I was surprised because I know his parents are well to do so asked Him if his parents are aware, he told me he was given the money but his friends encourage him to use the money to play sure bet and he will make some cool cash from it and later he can pay, but unfortunately for him the bet didn't pay, the money has gone.

What am I saying, most of the financial mistake we make is because of our emotions, people did talk us into doing, we didn't sit back to make proper analysis of what we are about to do we just rush in because we might have heard a fake story.am not saying we are above mistake but must we make mistakes, no because we might have heard other stories of how the made this same mistake so it is expected of us to learn from it and not fall for the same again.

When making Investment, out emotions should be put in check, let it not be that the reason why you are making the investment is a wrong one, take time do good research, especially in crypto if you allow emotions to come in then you will end up saying that crypto is a scam meanwhile you were the one who couldn't control your emotions when making the decision of what to buy and when to sell.
