dCity is a long running simulation game built on the HIVE blockchain - players can collect NFTs in their account and through the unique combinations of all the NFTs they hold produce effects, including ranking rewards, new NFT minting, access to raffles and giveaways and token minting.
Its a complex, math based game that is super fun for some, and way to complicated for many. Which is one of the reasons why I am the top player in the world - and I (and others) have made a lot of money from playing this game, and playing it well.
Its also the reason why I created the ARMERO token, when I saw an opportunity to tokenize exposure to dCity, I thought it could be good for certain funds (like my INCOME Synergy Fund) to get exposure to dCity without having to 'play'. And this has worked out enormously well for INCOME.
Today I am going to lay out the case for you to hold some ARMERO token, and announce a private sale of ARMERO tokens at 0.3 HIVE each. Read on to find out more.
ARMERO token represents a tokenized share in the @armero account (and occasionally @armero2 when we need it), which is the topped ranked dCity for INCOME and 7th rank LP provider in the SIM:SWAP.HIVE liquidity pool.
It generates 0.001 HIVE per week of dividends and uses the rest of its income to grow its base, usually by expanding its LP position but occasionally purchasing additional dCity NFTs as needed.
While the market estimate of the NFTs on the @armero account varies, currently they are estimated at over 79 million SIM - or 20777 HIVE.
Additionally, the LP position is worth another 6822 HIVE, and 72 HP, bringing the assets under management on the account to 27671 HIVE.
Because there are 85,299 ARMERO outstanding, we can calculate a asset backed value (ABV) for each token, through simple division: 27671/85299 = 0.3244 HIVE per ARMERO token.
Because @armero is not minting any more tokens. There are two major holders, myself and @treasure.hoard that have agreed to sell some ARMERO at 0.3, and will list them on the market. Holders and market participants are free to operate in the market below this price - this is how markets work.
Headline value numbers can vary a lot. I think its safe to assume a small discount to ABV which is fair (and already agreed upon) to sellers and allow potential upside to new buyers.
Price and APR have an inverse correlation, and with divs producing 0.052 HIVE per year in cashflow, we can calculate the headline APR of 16% on ARMERO purchased at 0.3 - the APR will be higher if your purchase price is lower and vice versa.
This is in addition to the value growth, which we have managed quite nicely (one year ago we had zero LP position), as well as new developments to the game (see @dcitygame) such as the upcoming airdrop to SIMclub members. For example ARMERO is set to get 13 SIMboxes of new edition NFTs when this comes out.
Yes, in fact its one of the most continously updated projects on HIVE. @gerber and team continuously propose and implement new ideas, new combines, new NFTs, new mechanics and more - and have been implementing things all year long.
There are also a goodly number of assets backing the whole project - @gerber originally took his 'dev share' of token sales and invested it wisely, creating a large pool of money backing up the game. As was stated recently - there is more money backing the game than the whole market cap of SIM token!
Not everyone is interested in getting involved in a complex game like dCity - there is a lot to learn especially for someone coming in new and fresh. Its possible to do, and possibly even recommended - my starter city has 3x'd in value since I launched it last year.
But even then, the best APRs for playing are often earned at scale. @armero has achieved this through a unique methodology, becoming the number 1 ranked city for the income statistic, giving it a boosted income of over 13000 SIM per day just from this one statistic.
By holding ARMERO - you can get exposure to a growing portfolio of dCity assets as well as a 16% APR throughout the year - all without having to spend time clicking buttons or worrying about the rules and then the rule changes.
Consider holding ARMERO token in your porfolio - buy some today.

You should address the issue of new players: dCity only sustains players at the top, not, or not for part of the financial gain, a gateway for new players. It's expensive and unrewarding.
This issue is one of education, not ability.
One year ago I started a city with 150 HIVE and its now worth 500 HIVE. dCity is actually more profitable APR playing as a small city - but even though I have written two dozen posts about it over the years - its complicated and that is what is holding back new players - not because its not possible to earn well, but its very hard to understand how and much easier to complain.

I've seen several of your posts because I follow you but it is difficult to follow projects here on hive. I typed Dcity into the search above here on peakd and did find a unofficial group with 60 subscribers but I dont see many of your posts. https://peakd.com/c/hive-198197/created and looking at dcity.io the official support group is on discord https://discord.com/invite/FkMAPV3 and most projects use discord because hive doesnt have proper forum capabilities but neither does discord. Without a proper forum to have discussions and a centralized place here on hive for them it is that only those that follow the projects very closely are able to learn and profit from them. Its just too hard to learn and ask questions as discord is just a giant chat room with no static pages for threaded ongoing discussions, it does have threads option but its rarely used from what I see and required running a separate app that requires a phone number also. We need forums here on hive but without a forum to discuss these issues how will it become a reality? How does one educate themselves when there is no central place here on hive with the information? We need forums and wiki pages so that people can make posts and wait for replies in each section related to the game and then the key info can be added to the wiki pages.

The way we are seeing the market today, we are seeing it go up and all the projects like this will once again become popular around the world and people will be drawn to them. So we will see their prices rise again
