Is it profitable to invest in mining in 2022?

Cryptocurrency mining in 2022 is something that many people want to do, I am thinking of investing good money in mining this year, but I have asked myself some questions about it because I honestly do not want to mine Ethereum (ETH) nor do I want to mine Bitcoin (BTC), I think we can find some cryptocurrencies a little more profitable and I am looking for some cryptocurrency that is profitable to mine in the short term, I also plan to put them in "Staking" for a term of 5 years and then wait for a bear market.

The good thing about mining cryptocurrencies is that in the future, that is, in the long term this can bring us very good fruits, why do I say this? simply because cryptocurrencies always increase their value over time and if we mine with good mining equipment a cryptocurrency with great potential this can be very profitable thanks to the "Staking", today we can find returns of up to 50% per year very easily.

This is a very difficult question to answer, honestly I have not found a cryptocurrency that has caught my attention guys, why do I say this? because I sincerely want to get a good return with this, because in some countries electricity is very expensive and we always have to take this into account.

Let's take Ethereum (ETH) mining as an example, we all know the arrival of the Metaverse, for example, The SandBox, I have talked to some friends who are experts in this and they tell me that investing money in that Metaverse can be something very profitable in the future guys, just like investing in Decentraland, honestly I don't have much knowledge about this.

Being honest I would like to mine some kind of DeFi token, from my personal opinion I think these cryptocurrencies can be very profitable guys. With the annual yield we currently have on Decentralized Exchanges (DEX) we can easily have an APY of 75% guys.
