In the vibrant landscape of the Hive community, a paradox unfolds — a clash between short-sighted self-interests and the potential for boundless growth. This call to unity is an appeal to set aside jealousy and embrace ambitious projects that paint a visionary future for Hive. Let's not confine ourselves to the kiddie pool when vast oceans await exploration.
Investors, enthusiasts, and contributors are not immune to the challenges within the Hive community. Despite the presence of three playable games, certain elements persist in sabotaging projects, casting a shadow over the hard work and dedication poured into these ventures.
Intriguingly, the community seems to favor projects devoid of games or those with a history of abandonment over actively contributing endeavors. This preference creates a perplexing narrative — where projects with tangible accomplishments face unwarranted negativity.
Hive, a platform ripe with potential, finds itself restrained by internal conflicts. Rather than cultivating an environment that encourages growth, certain factions convey an implicit message: ambitious projects may fare better launching elsewhere, away from Hive's resistance.
The current scenario raises genuine concerns about how investors can realize returns when unsupported allegations and negativity threaten to drive contributors away. Despite these challenges, the project has persevered, integrating games into various Discord communities and maintaining a commitment to Hive's growth.
The power dynamics within curation also raise eyebrows. Certain individuals seemingly control influential curation accounts, promoting self-interest and overlooking projects with tangible achievements. In contrast, our project boasts three playable games and a roadmap for continued development.
The founder's love and loyalty to Hive stand in contrast to a unanimous decision among founders to explore opportunities beyond the Hive ecosystem. This raises thought-provoking questions about the community's dynamics and its impact on projects seeking growth.
The contemplation of leaving Hive coincides with intriguing external opportunities — grants from Myria, SKALE & Mantle, and venture capital firm offers. These opportunities, interestingly, require a departure from Hive, presenting a stark choice for the project's future.
It's time for the Hive community to rise above short-sighted interests and embrace ambitious projects that contribute to a vision of growth. Rather than acting as children in a wading pool, splashing each other and causing temporary blindness, let's recognize the vast oceans of potential around us.
Encouraging dialogue between the community and project founders is crucial. It's an opportunity to bridge understanding, build support, and shape an environment where ambitious projects thrive instead of facing resistance.
As we navigate this pivotal moment, let's choose unity over division and growth over stagnation. Together, we can redefine Hive as a thriving ecosystem that welcomes and nurtures ambitious projects, propelling us into the boundless seas of success.

Yep, we need it, but are we going to get it, lol, I am not so optimistic. And this coming from someone who has been building projects here for years now. People look at that upvote, and don't care where it comes from. They don't see the hard work people are putting into building an alternative economy, they just want that magic upvote and some token staking rewards along the way that they sell out of anyway. So yeah, I am in the same boat brother.
Truth!
HIVE is a complete blockchain that already works very well. What I wonder is, why is there so little talk about HIVE outside of HIVE? Do you have an explanation?
Absolutely, we do a pathetic job at marketing, any real plan is shit on and ignored if it is not from the inner circle. There is also the fact HIVE has 0 pre-mined tokens giving no individuals a reason to promote their bags, everyone has to jump in and earn / buy equally. The fact we have a large group that jumped in early that hold most of the power vote in spammy useless proposals to help keep their pockets lined and projects that do nothing for the chain funded while others building actual infrastructure like hive-tube.com, palmpay.io and more can't get a small proposal passed. Other projects like @psyberx who bring an unreal engine 5 game get bullied away, they are still here building yet the hive whales flagged it early and many have run away putting their funds into turn based strategy games copying splinterlands and magic the gathering rather than true innovation... many reasons why Hive is held back... working a recent web3 show helping the Hive booth I experienced their reality that Hive gives them all 30 HBD daily to help with food, that is all. (this is great help for those owning projects profiting from Hive yet those volunteering for the chain get the same) I live in Las Vegas and can tell you that will cover your lunch but not 2 meals unless you are a frugal shopper and don't mind eating low quality food.
Wow, I didn't expect a similar situation, I notice that tokens like HIVE performed much less in 2023 compared to other tokens that are not well known. I'm sorry to read these words, but they justify the constant sales of HIVE and SPS tokens
Agreed.
Unity is needed.
Only if we can work in unity that we can actually move forward. You have said it all
Unity is really needed on the hive blockchain I trust you.
United we stand here together on Hive
Let’s go Hive!
I agree! And it seems that HIVE unites
Even though we have our problems in terms of unity, I'd say that we are among the top if comparing the same attributes among other blockchains.
This is very educative, I have really learnt a lot from this post especially
Thank you for sharing.
Wholeheartedly agree with this. Even if we disagree on certain things, it's possible to make a genuine attempt at discussing disagreements in a humane way and attempting to come to a mutual conclusion. If we work against each other, the platform suffers; if we work with each other, the platforms wins.
The grammar here confused me, haha
Basically saying the founders are loyal and loves hive. Yet it is getting hard to stay, with all the opportunities available in leaving...
Well said, I believe that's why there is a town hall meeting where founders of different projects come together on X, to discuss the challenges and way forward for the Hive blockchain and their respective projects.
@psyberx you ever been invited to this?
I'm tired of being betrayed on hive. It's happened time and time again.
We should stick with @freecompliments as you suggested to me, and try to stay positive for our mental health. Nobody should feel betrayed here nor should lives be shortened by toxic people, I recommend muting those individuals and focus on being constructive moving forward!
