Give me more DEC tokens - My plans for more Cards and Packs

I took a bold step two weeks ago to buy my first Splinterlands card and I was happy with that decision and still happy now. Soon, i would share with you the wonders of the card I bought or just 2 Cents.. That step led me into understanding what the investment priorities of this blockchain game should be.

Cards are the main assets of the Splinterlands game. Perhaps the reason it's called a collectible card game. Your Splinterlands cards are not just cards, they are assets, they are non-fungible tokens (NFTs). I have told myself that I must buy as much cards and hopefully receive some as gifts too.

I have discovered that apart from selling the Splinterlands cards you own, you can also rent them out to active players and be receiving DEC token as rental fee. Such an amazing option, a passive income you said, right?

Owning Splinterlands cards has become a priority for me as we break into a new year. Either by single buy in the open market or by opening packs, I am determined to build my wealth of cards in the Splinterlands game. SHould I say "Seven cards each week or more".

Give me more DEC tokens so I can buy Cards

Splinterlands cards are bought with the DEC token. The card I bought was 24 DEC. DEC (Dark Energy Crystal) is the in-game currency of the Splinterlands market and shops. Irrespective of the price of DEC in exchanges, the Splinterlands game markets and shops values each DEC token at $0.001, that is, 1000 DEC for $1 USD. This is so for buying card packs and other assets directly from Splinterlands.

As I plan to buy more cards in the new year, I need more DEC token. Good that the price is quite cheap at the moment and I do not know how long that would be. Today, I bought 1,000 DEC tokens and that would help me to buy between 30 to 40 cards. I will stay within the rang of 30 to 40 DEC per card. At least as many cards to help me level up to 2.

I will be buying as much DEC as possible each week. My goal for the first month in 2023 is to hold as much as 10,000 DEC, peradventure the price rises and I would be able to buy cards cheaper. Imagine buying DEC now at $0.00062 and a $0.015 card requires 24 DEC. When the DEC price goes back to $0.001, the same card should be worth 15 DEC.

I am happy with myself for setting this goal for 2023 and I am happy to have a direction of investment in the splinterlands game as the new year unravels.

PS:

I was able to raise that capital tp buy DEC from exchanging my 0.41 HBD to 1.5 Hive. I also sold some of my hive-engine tokens to make up 2.3 Hive for the purchase of the 1,000 DEC.
