Welcome to my blog. I'm very happy to be part of this family; it's my first time in this community. Being here is not by mistake, as I have lots of tips to share for the Hiveans, which I believe will help them grow their businesses and improve their financial status. Being a freelancer, I had many experiences in the past and am still experiencing some things presently, and I'll be sharing with us just a little of my experiences. The 5 tips I'll be sharing will definitely help us in growing our businesses tremendously, but only if you can read this content to the end and make sure you apply whatever you'll be reading here.
What I'll be sharing are tested, trusted, and confirmed tips; just make sure you don't doubt this. Having said this, I believe running a freelancer business or managing a small venture is not just about doing what you love but rather about making it sustainable, profitable, and scalable, and this simply means you wearing ten hats and chasing one goal, which is growth.
As a freelancer or small business owner, whenever you're starting and building from scratch and you're trying to hit your next income, here are a few practical (it's hard-learned) tips that will keep your business moving forward and growing.
You'll agree with me that you won't get result as fast as you want if you are not consistent in your efforts, working on your perfection. See you don't need to go viral, you just need to be visible. Try by all means in creating systems that let you show up everyday. Whether it's posting content, managing your social media, reaching out to leads, and improving your process. The truth is, Consistency builds trust, and trust will always bring clients for you.
Don't be someone that will be after only selling to your clients alone, this won't help you, because if you are always after selling, clients won't stay long in your hand, but if you focus on building relationship, you get to enjoy more benefits, have long term collaboration with your clients and with that you keep making money in a steady way. Repeat client are always gold. So stop chasing every new leads and start nurturing the ones you have for a long term project. Try invest ingood communication, deliver value, añd always follow up like a pro.
Many freelancers make mistakes alot in this part, because many freelancer undercharge out of fear. Fear of not losing clients and fear of not loosing money, but the truth of the matter is , knowing your skills very well with the value in it , that way will let you to know the worth of your service and know how to go about your pricing without cheating yourself. Also don't be gready sometimes, that is don't let your service be too expensive for clients to afford, remember cheap price often attracts more clients and drive more traffic for you. What i'm trying to say is that , know how to do check and balance of things.
This is very important too, learning new tool will definately improve your service delivery or let me say simple tightening can leads to high paying opportunities for you. Courses, books, even sometimes free YouTube deep dives. Having this will compounds over time
As a freelancer or business owners, you have know your monthly revenue, that is which service bring the most profits for you, what are the things draining time without return. You know data will always help you make better decisions emotionally and financially.
