Keeping Friends Over Rent

I was reading a news where a family have not left the apartment building even though the rent has increased because they have the friends circle there. So what happened that the family having the husband and wife and 2 children was staying on the apartment building for last 5 years.

Now after 5 years the owner has increase the price by 30%. And the owner has asked the family to vacate the flat or pay increase rent. Now the family didn't want to come out of the apartment complex because they are comfortable staying there and the other flat were not available, so they agreed to pay 30% extra. This is because all the family members had the friend circle which they don't want to lose.

Now the problem we face in this fast pace world is we are lonely. But in the apartment complex, people who are like minded usually mingle and sometime they became like a family. Previously we had extended family staying together but now that doesn't happen anymore so the friends becomes our extended family. Now if any problem comes you can actually rely on the friends and that's why having the friend circle is so much necessary.

And that's why the family chose rent increase over leaving the friends circle. Now this doesn't happens always. Because not everyone can afford the same, I.e. they cannot afford the rent increase. So yeah again this also comes doen to how well to do you are.
