Having Badminton Court is a Great Business

Today I went to play Office Badminton Tournament and we have booked 2 courts for 2 hours. Now for that we have to pay Rs 1200 I.e. Rs 300 per hour per court. Mind it, it is only the weekdays. For weekends the price is Rs 400. And the place where we went is having 6 courts. So now if we see the revenue or profit, it's huge money. If we remove the expenses, then also the profit margin is more than 30 to 40%.

So having a badminton court in Bangalore, is actually a great business. You don't have to have the land also. The court whete we went was on 5th floor and thus it is again the cost efficient. The court was in posh area and thus it was crowded from the 5 PM itself. So think about it how much money you can generate just by renting a good terrace and convert it to a badminton court.

In Bangalore, we don't have much parks or activity places. So people wants to do some activities, goes for playing badminton 🏸. And that's why it is a great business. I ran some numbers and found out that the revenue would be in one week would br around Rs 2 Lakh and in month it would be somewhere between Rs 6 Lakh to Rs 8 Lakh. If I remove the expenses, after that profit would be around Rs 1 Lakh to Rs 3 Lakh depends on the rent.

So that's why having a badminton is actually a lucrative business. Where the profit would be 30 to 40%, which is better than any business. I know managing it would be tough but if you can manage it well than you can generate income which would be more than any business.

Actually, Just owning a space itself is a profitable business. I saw a plot that doubles as a parking space for the building next to it. Earning a decent income with zero additional maintenance. And just imagine the income if the plot is nearby a market place. 🤑
