Bought Some Nifty50 ETF

The Indian Stock market is continuing to go down and in the last 30 days, it has gone down by more than 9%. Every month I usually buy Nifty50 ETF along with the Mutual Fund. But this time, I have stopped the SIP which was at the start of the month and I have bought ETF today.

This downtrend will continue till there is war because our Indian economy is tied to the war. Most of our energy needs are imported and since there is war going on, there will br shortage in coming days to come. Already because of people hoarding the LPG gas, we are hearing the news of LPG shortage in the country. Even though there is no shortage, but since people are hoarding a lot of people are started facing the problems. And yes more than petrol and diesel, our LPG supplies are hit because of the war happening in the Middle East.

And this is one of the reason the Indian Market is going down. To be honest we don't know the bottom and we cannot predict it, but what I know is that buying Nifty 50 at this pride gives me the units at the low price which will benefit in the future. Individual stocks we don't know how they will behave but I am pretty sure that once the war stops, the broader market Index will rally.

And even if it continues to go down from here, I am happy to but more. Uts not catching a falling knife at least in case of ETF because we know this problem is short term and in long term we will see a recovery just like covid times. In covid, I could not invest much but I don't want to regret this opportunity later. And if you have somrcash lying around, you can also invest in the market little by little so thar your average buy price comes down.
