Be Like Cockroach

Yesterday I talked about eat te elephant and how we should divide our big task into smaller task so that we can complete it. Now in the same context I was reading another article where it was written that your role model should be Cockroach or you should be like a cockroach. This is because cockroach is that animal which can adapt in any environment.

Now if you see cockroach, you will not feel good and everyone wants to remove it from their place but the ability of cockroach to adapt themselves in any situation is great. They don't think multiple times before laying eggs, and thus 100s of more cockroaches comes out. This is because of their ability to adapt. They can stay in any climate, in any environment.

And thus we humans should be like them atleast to.some extent. We should adapt ourselves in every condition possible so that we become better everyday. A lot of people complain about small and small things but very few people adapt to the circumstances. The one who adapts goes to a long way. Everyone's life is different but since it's a life there are ups and downs in everyone's life. If you don't adapt yourselves in the down point of life then you can't see the up anytime soon.

And that's why adapting is a great way to move forward. I am also not adapting, for example I have been a developer and working on one language but that's wrong. I have to adapt myself as per the latest technology and thus be in demand always. I am thinking of doing it and will do going forward. And thus you also if stuck in one thing, then try something else who knows you can adapt to that different thing too.
