Fiat/Cash is getting more tensed, is it the time to go deep in cryptocurrency?

Most countries are either having one issue or the other with their currency and people are finding things so hard. In Nigeria currently, there are cases of low no withdrawal rates happening daily. I have been trying to withdraw some cash since about a week and it hadn't been working out even though I have some little amount in my bank account. Many others are facing the same since the new notes came in and it's been a tough time for us deeply.

. Is it the time for cryptocurrency to be adopted for use at stores, markets and in the economy at large?
If cryptocurrency had been in use would all these challenges have been so serious like they are now?
Government wouldn't agree with us that the use of cryptocurrency is need to settle some crashes of cashes around the world. There are a lot of parents stripping themselves naked in banks all over Nigeria, crying they couldn't pay their children's school fees or feed themselves in this cash scarcity.
If the use of cryptocurrency is adopted, people won't necessarily be in need cash like it is now. The dependence on cash is what is making people suffer than they should.
I believe this is where cryptocurrency should come to make things easier but the government never wants a decentralised era to come, they want to control it all transactions.
What do you think about the adoption of cryptocurrency for local transactions in this crisis?
